I didn't watch the Jersey Wicked video that had some negative comments about their tumbling but I saw them compete and Providence and their tumbling was great! Overall REALLY good Jr 5 team, especially for a first year team. I am looking forward to seeing what they do in the next couple of years!

I'm rather curious with Jersey Emeralds how many of those kids are true level 2 kids. As in the most appropriate level for their skills is level 2. Not meant as slander to Jersey, but those kids don't look like they're truly level 2 athletes making it a lot less impressive to me. If they are, kudos to them, they make it look like they aren't.

Thank you. The video that had the comments was from a HS competition. Same HS competition Stars were at and had a lot of tumble mistakes. Was it the floor, I can't say. Was it a bad day, maybe. They are working so hard. I'm so proud of them. Being a first year team is tough, but they improve each and every time they take the mat.

I wish I could find a video of Bay State j2. They finished a VERY tight 2nd to us this weekend. They were every bit as good as our Emeralds in all areas of the scoresheet. Bravo J2 also had a high score, but I didn't get to see them. It was fun to watch these level 2s battle it out. I think the final difference between 1st and 2nd was something like .1

Our Lg J2 and Y2 have been right up there as well. We take our lower levels very seriously.

Every time I saw a d*mn ipad up in the air videotaping last weekend, I wished I had a slingshot and big rocks! Put the ipads down, people! You can video and keep it low at the same time. It is possible.

I was wondering the same thing. I love this routine, it's so fun to watch and someone correct me if I'm wrong...but are some of the girls on wicked also on emeralds? From the video a few girls look very similar.
