For those of you that have athletes or is an athlete that wears the ponytail extension. Do you like them? Do they really save time? What brand is the best?

I was looking on Posh website and noticed they have a light brown with platinum highlights, a strawberry Blonde with highlights but do not have a dark blonde with highlights. For those who do have dark Blonde hair with blonde highlights what colour do you use. I thought about buying the the dark blonde and highlighting the hair on my own ( I am a hair colourist) to match my daughter hair but they already come teased and I am afraid of ruining the hair.

Please help!!!!!!!

Posh Pony is what we have. CP loves it!! They will help color match your daughter! The owner is an amazing woman. And I can have my daughter's hair completely comp ready and secure in about 3 minutes!! And her hair is unharmed.

My DD has a PinUps pony and loves it. You can buy the hair yourself and sent it in for a perfect match. It takes less than 5 minutes to get her hair from everyday to competition ready!

We have punups. Biggest difference is that posh has to be sewn in, pinups doesn't. Also, with punups, you can buy the hair yourself and send it in so you could color it yourself.

We also have the Pin Up Pony. Most of the moms at my gym bought the hair locally, but I had a hard time finding a match for my cp's sandy blonde hair. Most of the blondes at the hair store were either too platinum or had too much red in them. But Pin Up Ponies actually had a color on hand they called "sandy blonde" which was pretty close to perfect for my cp! I really like the way the Pin Up attaches...super easy & extremely secure.

We love our pinups and if you decide to buy there you can get a discount using our code Sarah10 Its the best, saves tons of time and saves my baby's natural hear from breakage. It grew so much more this past season because we werent teasing her own hair but using the Pinupsponieswithatease.com

Used the discount code when we ordered a few weeks ago. Anxiously waiting for her pony!!

How hard are they to put in? My middle daughter is wanting one so bad, she HATES having her hair done, and has always had a cute little bob, but now this year she wants to let it grow out. Her ponytail is literally the size of a pencil lol. I just worry that I won't be able to get it in well enough with her having such thin hair.

My cp has very thin hair as well. We use a sponge thing to make a bun and then slide the hairpiece over the bun. I sew it in her hair with 4 simple stitches (wouldn't want a hairpiece to fly out while doing a full, so no matter what you get I highly suggest sewing it in) and boom, done. Literally 3 minutes!

There is no need to sew in a punups. It has an attachment system that is just as secure, if not more so. There are multiple failsafes. I have done sew in dance hairpieces and this is SO much easier!

We have TWO "Pin-ups - Ponies with a Tease." The attachment system is super fast -- literally, cheer hair in under five minutes -- and no sewin! For both ponies, we purchased the hair locally and shipped it off for the ponies to be made. The company is fabulous and makes a point to celebrate the inside and outside beauty of all of her customers. And each pony comes in an adorable little pink personalized box. Check it out on Instagram @pinupsponieswithatease

Every year I tell myself I just need to get one of these things.....our gym requires teased curls. I normally just use curlformers because literally the only two things I can do with hair is straighten it and put it in a ponytail. I've also noticed that any of the companies making the hairpieces tease it way bigger than what our gym would want. Is there a way to get a little less tease and would I be able to somehow still use Curlformers in it?
