Have you ever seen them worn again? No because it was for one competition. Now if it was worn for every competition that they went to than other people would have a problem.

Im gonna wear my dive speedo to my next comp. It's just a temporary thing, just until my uniform comes in. That make it okay. /s

If its inappropriate in the long term it's inappropriate in the short term. Period.

UA also wore a full red fishnet top as opposed to it being an element. I still think it falls in the same NSFW catagory

I thought they looked like crop sweaters too! I didn't have a problem with them look wise, I was always just afraid a finger would get stuck in a hole or something.

You are, on the whole, doing WONDERFUL things with your uniforms. Please do not ever look to the US for inspiration in this category when designing. You're doing much better on your own..

I went to watch the encore comp in NJ yesterday (we drove 3 hours just to get our wcss fix-crazy yes I know). Just wanted to comment on how nice all of the World Cup unis are! All very classy looking. Especially shooting stars - they looked beyond amazing on the floor! So sparkly but not overdone.
And CJA's looked much better in person.

While they're an upgrade from their old ones, I just can't like these. It's too much black for me, and not enough white...and then the font on the front is just so boring.

ETA: HOLY HUGE IMAGE! sorry bout that! Connect Cheer NW's new uniforms! I'm in love with these! Their C5 (small coed 5) has the crop top, every other team has full top! I think the base color is actually a navy blue, it just came out black in the picture?

Yes they are navy blue, no black. And here is the program uni for levels 1-4

ugh the mesh kills it for me! it would have been perfect with a continuation of the blue fabric over the stomach!
