My dog ran around the yard with baby rabbits in his mouth. They survived. The other day he was running around with a dead bird...not quite sure how he got that one.

yeah, they would sweep low to tease her and she just picked them off. we had an endless supply of dead birds on the porch!

You guys have some mean doggies holy cow.... My dog likes licking people. Thats pretty much it. Shes too lazy to do anything else

My dogs are like that in the house (I have 2 whippets, which are basically small scale greyhounds) but if they see a rabbit or a small furry animal and it runs from them, instinct kicks in and they want to chase it. They're placid but hunting instinct does take over certain breeds.
