I wish more dads were like you. Most would be freaked out, think their son is confused and shove a football into his hands.Cp not around to reply but he got started by watching his sisters pop warner team and learning the cheers. Seemed to enjoy it a lot so we signed him up. Was around 6-7 at the time.

Smart momMy mom wanted my sister and I to be more social so she took my older sister to the local cheer gym.
After the season she asked me if I wanted to join too. I did! The rest is history.

Don't get me wrong, I had some hesitation at first and we did try other sports with him but it always came back to cheer. Though tough to begin with for me ultimately I am glad he found a sport he is passionate about and makes him happy.
