So last night I was at my friends bonfire until 2 am bc it was her last night here, she's leaving for college today. The whole time I was thinking I had a dentist appointment at 11:15 am, so id be able to sleep in. My mom tried to wake me up at like 9:30 and I was confused bc I has plenty of time? Then she said it was at 10:30, so I was like "well crap". Then she called to double check (at this point it's 9:45) and it turns out it's at 10:15. So I literally changed my clothes, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and walked out the door still half asleep. We are a mess. and I'm tired.

Hahaha @njallday we were going to watch it at work earlier! We didn't have time. Booo.

Sooooooooooo..... I'm going to be 41 this Saturday. That's quite old. Regardless of my oldness, I love One Direction. Yep, I said it - I love them. :D I'm so excited because my sister's birthday gift to me is tickets to their concert! Yep... On August 29, my 44-year-old sister and I are off to Soldier Field to see one direction. Lol my kids refused to go, so it's just us oldies! Can't wait.
Are you going to bring a huge sign that says "It's My Birthday!!!"? :)
They put on a great show and my cp loves 5SOS as well so she had a fantastic time. 19 songs + 4 encores, btw for 1D.

So I just got home from my very first cruise! I'm not sure how I feel about it. I've got some mixed feelings.

The positives: having food available 24/7 "free of charge". The entertainment was pretty good. Snorkeling was absolutely amazing. Seeing the culture of Bermuda was fantastic. The locals were all so nice and helpful. They never made any rude remarks about tourists. I loved all the cruise staff. They were so accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend's parents' room was under the casino, his mum called for some ear plugs and was upgraded to a suite with a balcony. So that was pretty cool.

The negatives: the weather. Even though that's not in anyones control we did not luck out with good weather. It poured all three days in Bermuda. We got probably twelve hours out of the three days that it wasn't raining. And even then it was super humid and cloudy. I didn't like how crowded it was. Finding a seat at the pool was such a challenge. At the restaurants on the ship everyone was eating so the restaurants were packed full of people. We had to practically yell to each other to hear. I didn't like how the cruise staff were trying to get money out of everyone. They acted like they were salesmen and were buggy about selling bingo cards and scratch tickets. The rooms were very small and generally everything just seemed very crammed and crowded.

The number one thing that I couldn't stand had nothing to do with the cruise. My boyfriend's mother is so controlling it's unbelievable. She went on this cruise a year ago with friends. So she'd already seen everything. We wanted to do one thing and we couldn't because she wanted to do her thing. If we wanted to part ways to go explore on our own she would complain and make us stay with her. She treated her husband like a pack mule making him carry her purse, cooler and beach bag every where. She left her camera at the restaurant and made her husband go back and get it so she wouldn't have to miss the show. We were on the bus and there were no empty seats, she asked a man probably in his 80s if she could have his seat. I was just astonished. She then complained the entire bus ride of how her arms hurt from holding the railings when her son and I had been doing it on every single bus always giving her the last seat. Then on the way home, all of us exhausted just wanting to get home. She asked us if we wanted to stop in New Hampshire to visit her family who are coming to Maine this week anyway, all of us said no, we want to go home. So she says too bad and tells her husband to stop anyway. Then all she talks about is herself and the trip. Ugh I'm just so annoyed.

On a happier note, I was wearing a cheer extreme shirt and a girl on the ship stopped and asked me if I was a cheerleader, I said I used to in high school and she said she did all-star in Massachusetts. So if you're on fierce board, hi!!

Sorry this was so long haha.
