I made the mistake of starting it!PSA: Netflix just released OITNB season 3 a day early yaaaaaaas
In other news has anyone used Uber before??. My boyfriend and I are headed out to San fransisco for a wedding and plan on using it to try and do some sight seeing. It seems really expensive though.
I honestly don't get how people in college do it. If my parents didn't pay for my car insurance/gas I wouldnt be able to afford to have a car. My freshman year I was lucky if I made 80 bucks every two weeks at my job. At the time my car insurance was probably around 100-120 a month? I wouldn't have been able to afford to drive anywhere after paying for insurance. My sophomore year it didn't really get any better with a work study job since the supervisor gave a couple people all the hours and others got none. I think one month I made like 90 dollars for my work study job. Props to anyone who can be financially independent during college cause I know I wouldn't be able to.my car insurance has gone up from $58 to $95 in a year. I am so overly annoyed right now. It went up $10 with 2 speeding tickets and then I got one for going 3 over and now my insurance is $95... and everywhere else i've looked at I've gotten quotes from $130-$200. Sometimes I seriously hate being completely financially independent. I'm in college, its literally so hard. I needed somewhere to rant. Lol

Happy 23rd birthday to me!! Currently in Louisiana and will be driving the rest of the way to Houston today! I'm excited and nervous to spend the next 2 months there.

My husband and I drove down to Grand Forks ND to see Luke Bryan and paid 105 CND for 2 tickets. Thankfully its only a 2 hour drive. I don't get how tickets are so much cheaper for the same show 200 KM away
As a parent and someone who spends a lot of time driving just don't speed, especially on small towns.
Be glad you are not a male driver. Their rates can be out of this world.
Slightly off topic but Grand Forks is one of my favorite places in America. I went for a weekend last October and immediately fell in love with the place/people/everything.
It could be because of the car you drive. That still seems ridiculous though. (And people wonder why I don't drive...)
Be glad you have the option to change insurance companies. In BC, there's one Crown corporation people have to buy basic insurance from.
The amount of camo/trucks/guns astonishes me there. Same with Fargo an hour south. I'm always amazed how different a place 150 miles south is. I like going though...they have ALL the restaurants we don't have
haha I loved it! I live in the DC area and so many people there just seem so fake...which was the polar opposite of GFK. Also the fact that the airport there has two whole gates.
Well it's DC and it's filled with politicians so the "fakeness" doesn't surprise me one bit.
