Around here, you will definitely spend more on travel ball. Cheer costs us $2500(uniform, tuition, comp fees ect) plus travel and a pair of shoes. We don't fly anywhere, and usually do 1 big 2 night hotel stay with a longer drive, one closer 2day, and a couple of 1 night hotel stays. The lower level travel ball teams are pretty comparable to that, but elite teams are traveling out of town every weekend and staying overnight you are looking at at least twice the cost of cheer.Must be regional because a good friend has the following:
Travel soccer: uniform $200, warmup $175, cleats $75. Practice wear two sets @50 each. Conditioning $125 per month. Agility training $80 per month. Travel: non local includes overnights in 4 states including a 4 day tournament.
My friend who is a hockey dad doesn't even want to add up costs.
Additionally our gym only has one comp per year that includes a flight. So, not really more expensive necessarily. It really depends on the program.

Could you imagine double downs with those braids??? OUCH!As a WDW cast member, I'm so done with Frozen I could scream!...
But I like that uniform. I do hope they don't wear their hair in the braids though. It takes it from a nice nod to a costume-y place. And I love me some costumes, but not for cheerleading

Green Bay Elite Instagram this reminds me: why don't we have an excessive stoning smiley? I think it's necessary for times like these.
