All-Star Only Seniors Can Expose Midriff???

Just saw that USASF, starting next season, will only allow seniors to have exposed midriff tops! True? And thoughts.

i don't mind this at all. im not against it or for it. im neutral towards it. if i owned my own gym i would probably have it the same.

Tinys - Jr's : FULL tops

Sr's/International teams: HALF tops.
but thats just me.

You are right. I just read the letter. It also stated that starting next year, if you do not have a full length top and are not a senior, you must wear a tshirt or something over your top unless you are heading to warm ups with a group, in warm ups or on stage. They are finaling getting serious about this! I'm glad!

honestly, they can make this a rule all they want but are they going to have regulators runing around asking everyone they see like .. oh .. are you going to warm ups ? oh ok are you going to the bathroom ? oh then yeah you need to put a shirt on ... good luck with this rule

this is dumb. how about girls who are 14 on junior 5 teams? yeah..no. what is this high school cheer. they should just have a inch limit!

They can't enforce the rules they have now. How will they enforce this? And they did list a limit...there must be 10" or less skin between the top and the bottom. What about tall girls? Hellooo Steve Urkl.

So a 10 yr old on senior can wear a crop but a 14yr old on jr can't? Wow that rule really made a difference... Lol. This rule is a total joke, if you don't want to wear a crop don't go to a gym that wears them. I hate this rule, and my daughter is 9.

I do not agree with this. I would support it for Tiny's and Mini's but for Youth and Juniors - it should be allowed. I think they made this ruling to make some $$$ for certain companies. I bet those companies are already preparing to take the orders!
