I competed this weekend in an individual nationals. I came in second and was crushed. I had a new pass with stuff I had just learned last week. My mom told me that she was never more proud of me than she was at the moment I finished my pass. She told me I threw exactly what I went there to throw and I nailed it and that there are just going to be those times where somebody throws a tougher pass and wins. She said it had nothing to do with me and that I dug deep and did my best and it was beautiful and perfect in every way. She told me that I inspired her to be her best and that she has learned to be a better and more courageous mom by watching me....she squeezed me so hard i thought i was going to pop!
