OT Tuxes?

Okay, my dress for prom is Ivory with silver beading. What should my boyfriend do for his tux? He is doing a black tux, with silver vest, and (hopefully if I can talk him into it) a silver tie. Should he do a while or an ivory shirt? And maybe y'all can help me convince him, should he do a black or silver tie? Thanks!

If he doesnt want the bowtie, then convince him to do the silver tie. It just looks so good to be matching with the tie if you can. Here is normal silver tie pic-

Ivory and silver don't always go great together, so if you really want to incorporate the ivory, let me see a pic of the dress and I'll see what I can come up with. The classic black tux with an ivory shirt and bowtie is a personal favorite.

We did white not ivory! and I tried to convince him to do a bowtie but he told me no because I wouldn't let him do a white tux hahaha. He doesn't seem to understand that white and ivory will clash...
