Mexican dessert. Basically fried bread, but not normal bread, I'm not sure what kind. People do a lot of different things with them. I've tried them with chocolate, honey, powder sugar, and cinnamon. Honey or cinnamon is the best IMO. They're sweet and fluffy. Hollow in the inside.

we made these in french class one time. I ate it with strawberries and fudge and powdered sugar. SO GOOD. I LOVE FOOD.

So I tried making onigiri for the first time myself! Not QUITE there yet, but I read a secret tip that makes them infinitely better so I'm going to try that today!

Yep, it's just like what @Robin Sparkles said. I think "Bubble" is the American/lazy way of saying boba.

I've never tried the taro flavor but I always associate taro with bubble tea.

My favorite is the coffee flavor, more milk, less tea and I like it reallyyyyyy sweet with lots of tapioca pearls. There was a take out place in my college town that made it perfectly. I'd persuade my room mates to order food from them like every week just so I could get my bubble tea delivered to my room [emoji48]
We have a lot of boba places in Arizona. My orchestra, before every concert we have like 5 people go to the local boba shop and pick it up for whoever wants it.

My roommate made beignets (sp?) this morning. We have a TON and they're so delicious..

I thought I had it made with cupcakes in my house.

A very good friend is from France and always tells us about how great beignets are in the home land! A cafe nearby sells them and they are perf.

I had French toast with Nutella inside and hazelnut gelato on top at a restaurant the other day, to die for!

I will never understand Nutella---like legit, I just can't.

When we lived in Germany; let me preface, German's make amazing pastries....A-MAZE-ING...pastries; but we only lived about an hour from the French border and I would always drive there for my breads. Like literally, I can understand why the French have bread named after them...I miss living in Europe. Fun fact, Luxembourg actually had some of the best pizza I've ever had and Belgium, while their waffles are good, their crepes are even better.

Me and this particular friend have been friends for several years, and I never got any of her native cuisine... We have senior project and all my foreign friends, which is like all of them (yay for living in the D.C. Metro suburbs), did something related to their native country, except her.

The Serbian, Filipino, ect. food was great tho!

She's originally from Louisiana then Texas...so yeah. Between her and my Italian-ness the food at the apt is always baller.

Can I move in??
