OT New Random Thread Pt. 3

Awwwww I love watching dads do little girls hair. It's the cutest.

As crazy as it sounds, it took me a while to build up the "strength" in my arms to actually French braid my own hair. It's like super tiring on my arms because it's such and awkward thing. I think that was the hardest part.

But you know what was worse than learning how to French braid for me? Learning how to do a simple pony tail when you have little fingers and your mom only bought those hair ties that have the two plastic balls on the ends that were popular in the 90s. Whyyyyyy. Those things are deadly weapons. THEY HURT WHEN THEY SNAP BACK AT YOU.

I would "accidentally" snap them trying to use them as a regular pony tail.

I can French braid or Dutch braid my own hair easier than I can any of my girls' hair.

I learned on my own hair (both French and Dutch, although I didn't know until recently that the Dutch braid had an actual name) so it was harder for me to be able to do my girls' hair as well. Plus the fact that mine has more texture than theirs made their slippery straight hair infinitely harder to do until I tried theirs while it was still wet, which helped. We also love the fishtail braid look.

So I had to google what clackers were and Im like 95% sure that all the banned clackers later became those hair ties so they could make money off of discontinued toys that had been sitting in storage. They are literally one in the same.

So I'm in Hawaii and I'm flipping through the channels and there's a show about a cheer gym here! It says Aloha in their uniforms. Crazy!

I taught myself how to French braid my bangs in high school but I finally figured out how to French braid it straight back by myself within the last year. It has totally improved my quality of life.

Same. I wore it to work/class for literally like 2 weeks in a row because it was so much easier than straightening my hair. I can french braid other peoples hair though! I find it easier to dutch braid mine, though. I didn't know there was a name for it! I called it "inside braid(french) and outside braid(dutch)"... lol

Before this thread I had no idea people find it difficult to french/dutch braid their hair. I guess I can call myself lucky that I was able to teach it myself within 3 attempts when I was about 12/13.

If that company cared. Truly cared about those 9 people....send proceeds from whatever other crap they sell to mother Emmanuel, to Clementa Pinckney, hell donate to toe CCPL friends of the library.

It makes me sick to see stuff like that. Like my God. Let's make a another cute southern shirt for people to waltz around in


But like I said. Anytime I open my mouth right now it's been unnecessarily full of anger and b---chy.

They are pledging to donate a certain amount per shirt ordered, but I don't know the in depth break down of their pricing. If it's not 100% profit it's close to it.

Hello. This is to all the Coaches
So i now are giving you a great oppurtunity to get your dance by me.
Here is a little about me:
My name is Diana and I'm cheering for level 6 all girl Dragons in Sweden. (Allstar cheer). I've won regionals X2 and national champion tittle.
My routines has in the past Been made of Top Gun and Team USA (with help fr.o.m. Spirit of Texas a-teams coach for the dance). I am Also a coach.

I've noticed alot of people here need help with their dance in the upcoming season and I'm here to help you! If you want your dance by me you just have to message me, write what song you want it to be in, Theme and if you have any wishes. Of course i can change stuff in it for you.
I would love to help you Coaches. I don't know for how long i Will make This dances for free so Thats why you should take This oppurtunity! Because i live in Sweden we would comunucate via Skype, here or Facebook.

I would like to think their intentions are good but that is no $9 bulk price shirt. I would hate to see anyone try to profit off of a tragedy. I feel the same way about Mitt Romney running his mouth about the Confederate flag. Yes it should be removed but he didn't care about it a week ago and is only using this tragedy for political gain.
Erin I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the horror and sadness friends and family are feeling. My thoughts are with you.

I can do both braids, but french braid is much easier for me. With the dutch, it's much looser as my hands don't work that way. They're pulling the wrong way I guess so I can't get it as tight and I'll often loose the ends. French braids are my go to when I don't want to straighten my hair cos I'm lazy
