"You won Worlds? What like it's hard?!" The Legally Blonde voiceovers for Stars could've been so good. I don't dislike the Gaga theme, but I just want them to get a new mix which I think someone said they would soon?

And have the bend and snap somewhere! It would be awesome in the jump section hehe.

Tglc will always be my number 1 team! But when the boys jumped onto the girls faces, I busted out laughing. Sometimes their innovation stretches into straight weird.

Okay so stones away:
1. I think the opening is too gimmicky for cheer---I actually really dislike props in cheer when it's not sideline cheer and this is just over the top. And yes I thought the hoops for TGLC was a little overkill too.
2. Their music is an RIAA lawsuit waiting to happen.
3. While I couldn't see the ruffle the entire time, when it rode up on the girls it reminded me of the ruffle diaper covers I used to put on my kids as infants. I don't think I'll ever be able to see past the ruffle.

Otherwise, they're looking very solid so early which means Large Senior will be another fun division to watch.

Our senior 4 Diamondbacks that won nca last year had a legally blonde theme.

They had pink bows, a delta nu sorority theme, some cute voiceover and danced to bend and snap.

This. I kept seeing retweets from lots of anon twitters tagging lady gaga and saying it is their mission to get her to see the routine by the end of the season. Uhhh... y'all know that's a bad idea, right? Last season CEA SE was able to do that with Rachel Platten/Fight Song because I believe they previously had her permission as a smaller artist to use the song and then they went to the kind of private little concert with her and she interacted with them all season. Lady GaGa is very different and that is absolutely a lawsuit waiting to happen for Patrick (if he still does their music.) Cheer music is already in hot water and that's just a bad idea.

What do you mean by releasing? Just using it at comps is grounds for hot water; I imagine a C&D will likely be sent by the end of the season.

I'm a lot more excited about this division than I thought I would be, but I honestly think the big separator between big name teams will come down, a lot, to female talent. Not sure Cali's maximizing that as much as Swoosh or Remix are (the only other two I've really watched) but I'm sure this will prove to be a hugely competitive division this year.
