All-Star Disqualifying Cheaters

Most of what have been posted in this thread is a proven fact. If you cheat, then you deal with the aftermath. If you do not like that your kid has to go to the "table of shame" than you switch gyms. If you stay at a gym that knowingly (and that they did) cheat, than by staying/defending it, you are saying it's ok. And what's worse is that you are showing your children that it is ok. If this was a gym that has never cheated before, would be one thing. But they do have a history of it.

The same analogy can be said, majority of people who fly are not terrorist or wear bombs, but we all still must go through those metal detectors, take belts and shoes off or possibly, be pulled over and patted down...Why? Safety!
Therefore, luckily, in this instance, ONLY the gym CAUGHT cheating must be subjective to this treatment and those honest athletes have a choice to not be part of a gym with a reputation for cheating... I only wondered, how many times in the past this gym cheated and gotten away with it 10, 15, 20 times...Yikes!

My thinking is this gym can not be the only one who has been caught recently. Or it is just more prevalent than most people are aware. Hopefully, but having this in place, gym owners/coaches can not hide it from the rest of the gym/parents that they cheated. And by having to show the government id's where people will know why, might help detour gyms from cheating.

As long as its just the coaches... Let's try to remember these are all KIDS cheering. Is it necessary to put these kids through this? Seriously people lets put this in perspective. For example.. Your child is part of a gym. unbeknownst to you, the gym puts an overaged cheerleader on another team. Now you have to show ID's . Would you really want your Cheerleader walking up to the "table of shame" , to have to go through that, when it when it wasnt even her/ his fault? Why not make them all wear Scarlet letters while your at it? SMH

If I ever find myself in that situation, where the gym we were at cheated and then all athletes were required to present ID, I can with 100% certainty say that I would NEVER allow my child walk up to a "table of shame" with her ID in hand.

Of course, that is because I would NEVER allow my child to again participate with that cheating organization.

I have proof of everything I posted. Do you want me to ask my mom to pull out a schedule from 2008? But you are correct it is still two days, I apologize. I meant to say it was Two FULL days of Competition. When I was there on Saturday Night supporting my teammates in their individual routines. Nothing on the schedule for Saturday Night at Matchplay this year. Sundays went until so late at night out parents complained about school the next day. I have backup for everything I posted.

I think she means if you are a level 5 cheerleader competing on a level 5 and a level 2 teams. If they both won, she would feel more proud on the level 5 win than the level 2

I MOVED PAST FLIP CITY, I GUESS YOU HAVEN'T. Let's move on. I searched old emails, I never delete and I have the schedule from 2010. There were more teams. How Long have you been in the Cheer World? I really don't want to start posting the emails from USASF and what Flip City posted all over again. I really don't think you want Mug Shots of former Coaches and the Owners husband on here. Anyone can google it? Maybe the owners daughter should delete her Vine account and the Head Coach should petition to have his stuff removed from those website but I am not in the 18 + Forum.

We had the preliminary schedule for athletic championship in Columbus. Suddenly today the coaches said they got an email saying to forget the entire preliminary schedule. It's going to change drastically possibly 2 more times. Hmm [emoji848] of course, this is a total assumption and no facts

Well print out that schedule and compare it to the new one that comes out and see who may be missing!

Coaches just sent us our time schedule. Not the entire event. But I will ask if there were teams that dropped. Trust me lol.

This is what they sent. They said to trash it because of the email they received today. Checking the old varsity app all day waiting for the schedule.

The one for matchplay this past weekend changed so much it made my head spin! Thank god my little one was not competing there! First all the teams were on. Then 7 gyms backed out in protest of flip city being allowed to go (minus their y3 team that was caught cheating). Then flip city backed out of the comp. then everyone that backed out came back since flip city would not be there.... I feel bad for the poor varsity person who had to keep redoing the schedual!
