I dont know how they did yesterday, but I was really impressed with Gymtyme IL.

they had 3.50 in deductions yesterday and came back and did amazing today! super impressed especially since they're a first year team.

Varsity is pushing them to school squads this year. At NHSCC coaches meeting I heard lots of oohs and ahhs when the rep brought them out. I thought I was the only sane one in the room for thinking no!!

No. No no no. Just because someone says it's ok doesn't mean it is.

I could understand tan/nude shoes before black... At least it makes sense as far as lines go.

As for the uniform talk, that's all I could think of yesterday during SSX. Those unis are gorgeous but do nothing for the routine on the floor! The color without any big contrast or lines made motions look sloppy and didn't make anything pop or visually stand out.

I think this is the first time it has really stood out to me... Uniforms can really help/hurt. When you see big picture on camera it's even more obvious. I hope coaches take note and make some changes.
