So I entered my height and weight into a BMI calculator today, and found that I have a BMI of 25.3... so I'm technically overweight, but I still look slim. I am so confused and frustrated right now. I've lost 4 pounds in the last couple of weeks, but it's so frustrating. Ugh. I'm trying to get back down to 160.

My dog died last night. she was sick yesterday but we decided to wait until today to take her to the vet and she did not make it through the night. Ima realy sad right nowsince its only been like a month since my grandfather passed away.. My dog was 10 som she was not really young but for being a chihuahua she was young. RIP to Anja.

I am in need of some help when it comes to school. I want to have an Plan B just in case I don't get into Nursing school this year. It is very important to me to get a Bachelors degree but I also have to be able to get a stable job with that degree. I personally have never been able to see myself not being in health care or coaching somewhere but I am afraid that if I don't at least be proactive and work towards another degree (just incase), I may end up with nothing or this process taking longer. I already have my Associates & finished all my basics....I plan on transferring to UNT for fall to finish these last two years. I am just not sure what I should major in with our economy and world the way it is now.
But I also need a job that I can be able to work at when I am 50 lol

What degree did you received? Where do you work now?
What BA degree's would you recommend? Any you wouldn't recommend?

My BA is Mass Comm-Broadcast (I wouldn't recommend it. It was a fun major and I knew I would need a masters to become a librarian anyway.). I'm a librarian. I work at a public library. I could probably work this job when I'm 100...

I recommend you get a BA in whatever you want to study. You're interested in health care so stick to that field. I'd personally even be willing to look at ultrasound technician, phlebotomy, medical technology Etc

BMI is useless. I'm classified as obese. Decide for yourself (I'm in the elephant dress):

Have you considered the business/management side of health care? A degree in public health, hospital management, or business admin/management could provide stable job opportunities in the health care industry. If you get into nursing school, which I'm sure you will, a business degree relating to healthcare could help keep you working in the healthcare industry if you ever want to stop being a nurse.

I'll graduate this summer with a BS in Accounting and I have a job lined up with a public accounting firm after I finish my Master's. I'm biased, but I would recommend accounting haha. Every type of industry needs accountants so it's a good way to get a job in one you're interested in. I'm not too familiar with BAs relating to healthcare, but since you're interested in that I would definitely stick with it.

Thanks. I'm going back and forth on it because most people don't work out a ton, but the BMI formula was created 200 years ago by a mathematician (not a medical professional) who used it on people with low muscle mass and more fat. So IDK. 2/3 of our country is overweight or obese so I'm inclined to believe I'm slipping into dangerous territory. At 181.7 (weighed myself this morning, and after eating so I must be a bit less) and 5'11", I'm 20-30 lbs away from my ideal weight. Not sure if it's because weight gain shows less on taller people, but I'm confused. Thank god I love seltzer water and vegetables LOL.

Can someone help? On the web fierce board the message box to type a reply won't work. It's just a blank white box with nowhere to click or write. This only happens when I use it on my Chromebook though. Suggestions?

It's happening to me too on my MacBook in chrome. Try a different browser.
