Anyone pulled any good April Fools pranks/jokes today? Our boss kept going around to everyone's computers when they were away from their desks and hitting a some three key combination that rotating the display on the monitor 90 or 180 degrees. No one could figure out what was going on lol
apparently google pulled a pretty good(horrible) one on people for at least a few hours...

This afternoon I accidentally left the dishwasher open, and my dog realized that it was full of yummy dirty dishes that she could lick. I found her stuck between a couple of plates, with her little legs flailing in the air and her whole head covered in old food.
Poor puppy. Funny but poor puppy.

Well.. The schedule for our last big comp where we could win jackets is out and I hate to say it but I'm really nervous about how we'll do. We're up against 6 teams in total, but we've beat 1 of the teams already in December and we've never seen 3 (so we don't really know what they look like, but after some stalking like two of the teams seem to be a little scary to watch and jank), and the other 2 have beat us before. Yikes. We're also missing at least 1 person from each stunt group at our last two practices.. Also, the two teams that beat us are very very clean and have great difficulty. I hope it all works out and we at least get top 3. But I'm also not sure about the 3 teams we haven't seen because we have no idea what they'll bring to the table, and the one team we beat had good difficulty but fell on almost every part of their routine. We'll see.

When people announce on facebook, that they'll unfriend everyone who talks about politics and then they comment/repost all day long what they think about gun-laws/pro-choice/immigration/welfare/include any other hot-topic of politics here .

See also: my cousin who posted that democrats should stop commenting and posting about Donald Trump and worry about their own party... But posts on a daily basis about Bernie sanders and how she's "#NOTfeelingthebern"
(She supports trump) (She actually unfriended me so I don't have to see it anymore. What a blessing)

I often ponder that in general. I rarely post on Facebook, but I have seen so many people saying how they will unfriend if they see post from people that contradict their political opinions. It kind of bothers me that people are so unwilling to accept that not everyone shares, or will ever share, all the same political opinions and truthfully I feel that is a good thing, debate is good. If I see posts that make me roll my eyes, and there have been many, I just scroll on down the page, no need to unfriend.

I don't get it either. If I don't like or agree with something I keep scrolling, I don't stop to start an argument & I don't report them.
That shows the maturity level of many of today's voters. The "I'm gonna take my ball & go home" mentality. Social media has contributed to so much of the ignorance because so many people actually believe the photoshopped pictures/memes & the satire news 'stories'. It's virtually impossible to have a discussion about opposing views without someone having to start name calling & throwing personal insults. Smh...

I don't know what is worse, the hypocrites or the people that support the same candidate as you & you see them posting all kinds of stupid things & sometimes hateful things in the name of the political party they support. I'll see stuff like that, roll my eyes & think 'THIS is why people think ALL (insert party preference here) are stupid!!' LoL!!

Don't know where else to share this, but today I went to the funeral of my assistant director for the library system where I work. She was the first black cheerleader for the University of South Carolina (and for her high school)

I've always thought that was a cool fact about her, even when I was a child

My mom took this picture of her cheering at a Carolina game in '76. She's doing a shoulder stand (my mom said she didn't get the guy in the picture because she didn't think he was important [emoji23])

She was my mom's sorority sister in college but I never met her until I started working for this library system.
