Sorry to double but a sidenote- I get depression. I know how hard it is. But Maya's storyline was not touching or sad it was just a mess. Like totally off in her own world the entire season.
I wasn't moved by Maya's story line either. It would have been interesting if she'd stolen the keys to a bus, plugged the muffler and sat in it with it running tho

And Lola was my favorite character this season, and I really liked how her decision was handled. Oddly I disliked Shay a great deal. Frankie I've never liked

Okay I just finished watching. I appreciated Maya's storyline. And I liked how Katie was brought back.

I cannot go through a season of watching blank faced Tristan.

Every time I think I'm too old for Degrassi it sucks me back in.

While these characters have all grown on me, I just don't feel there is the same depth to them as in the past.

I'm sure I'm younger than you, but I started to watch it in a hate-watch way. Then I got so enthralled with it that I stuck with it. Who knows, it might be able to revive itself on Netflix.

My excuse is that I'm Canadian, so it's an unofficial law that I have to watch it. (In addition to apologizing to inanimate objects when you run into them; I've been known to apologize to mannequins...)

When I talk to Siri, I always say "please" and "thank you" when asking her to do/send/check stuff. Canadian problems I suppose. ;)

I thought it was a normal thing to do. But there are some people who find it weird.
Saying "please" and "thank you" is what you are supposed to do. Except to Siri, @WinstonsGirl, she infuriates me and does not get my manners.
One of my fav scenes in HIMYM is when Robin shows them how to tell someone is Canadian.

I have no clue how the Netflix ratings are but I hope we get a few more seasons out of it. I have read that had it not been subsidized by the Canadian gov't it most likely would have been canceled aeons ago (probably around season 7 of TNG).

I hope this helps bring peace To all those impacted. These are the types of people who deserve to be sentenced to death.

I started watching it when I was in college and I came home from college and my younger sister was watching "Noggin" and I was like "what is this ish"

That was when they would do the every episode ever marathons, and i sat and watched every episode (they were only at season 2 I guess ) and then I went and watched all the episodes I missed.

I still watch it. She doesn't.

The first Siri annoyed me. She was a home wrecker though, so she went for a swim one day. ;) New Siri is much better and doesn't flirt with my Husband.

Netflix is by streaming # I believe. I think moving over to Netflix and allowing fans to watch one season in one day is very effective especially when people are watching less tv to begin with.

I loved the TNG from my pre-teen years. I like to think I had the mental capacity to enjoy things way beyond my years. I've watched soaps my entire life. But what made me fall off was that I never felt like we had a break or there was too much at once. These short 20 episodes a year is way more effective.

That could also make you English.

Also, I didn't know it was weird to thank bus drivers? I always do it.

I made Siri a British male. He sounds more polite that way. Except when you ask him who let the dogs out?

I'm rewatching Degrassi from the beginning, and I've made it to season 10. I had forgot how much I dislike Riley.
Season 10...Shark in the Water promo...so much love for that season. I feel that one injected new life into the whole series.
