Question: When did they start doing the intros from other coaches at the school/pro athletes/etc?

There is something about the coach of say, a powerhouse football program (ex: URBAN MEYER) introducing the cheer team that I like.

More thoughts:

1. I don't think anyone D1A has hit today in coed? There may have been some hits in all girl but I haven't seen any.

2. Confession: some of these fulls have scared me on the same level as Worlds prelims, and this is college.

Genuine question for the UCA people on here-what's the point of the crowd score? Literally every team I've seen so far has gotten a 15. Either change the scoresheet to better reflect the skill it takes to lead a crowd or get rid of it. It's meaningless if all teams get the same score.

Also to avoid double posting-they need to add something to the music rules banning bad Cardi B covers. No one else can compare to her!

I would agree with that for DIA. I was watching some of the Open and D2 teams earlier and most of those were 11, 12, or 13 for crowd scores, don't think I saw any 15's. Several of those routines were also absolutely terrifying to watch.

Heck, there was some tumbling in D1A today that bothered me. Surprises me because how is your technique that questionable when you have likely had a full since 12 and depending on the collegiate squad, competed on a top Worlds team in HS? How.

Also, how are the mascots scored? None of my mascots when I actively cheered competed so I have no clue what it entails. The skits are entertaining though!

So besides losing my picture during LSU and the following school, can’t complain about the feed.
Agreed about the crowd score. There are only eight scores out of allllll of the cheer teams that aren’t 15. What is the point?

I feel bad for GCU. I didn’t see the injury(ies?), but when they took the floor again, two flyers didn’t go up. Sad, they’ve grown into a pretty good program the past few years.

I think those intros started last year? Not positive though. I like them too!
