It's the only time you get to see the best of the country/world in one place. Plus, it's a great opportunity to meet A LOT of members of the board.

Went last year with my daugther to watch in person and it was a great weekend. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Get there early, get a good seat and enjoy.

There is group of moms from NC that go every year to watch and support our gym. It is most exciting thing I have ever attended and I have been in this business for almost 20 yrs! However my children will not attend until they make a worlds team. I feel it would be to overwhelming for them at a young age. Hopefully I will be there one day to watch my children compete instead of watching others children compete. LOL! But would recommend going to watch!!!

There are some of us from United Kingdom that are going just to watch this year. We competed last year and we decided that we couldnt miss out this year. I say definatly let her go to watch, its the most amazing experience for a cheerleader, and if you have the opportunity to go then always take it!!
sorry off topic, but how come you guys arent competing this year??

This will be my 6th year going, the first 2 years my daughter competed (won a ring the 2nd year!!) We love going and plan on attending every year!! It's so much fun, the weather is gorgeous that time of year :)

I'm dying to go one year. I'd do it if I had the opportunity!

sorry off topic, but how come you guys arent competing this year??

We competed at UKCA in 2010 because they were the one's to give us our bid for worlds 2010 out of loyalty kind of. UKCA that year wernt giving out bids, they were doing auditions for Team UK instead (which hasnt pulled off coz not many ppl turned up to auditions haha). We have decided to move on with the times now and leave UKCA and compete at ICC and Future Cheer and jamfest (We had a few problems with UKCA whilst we were at worlds, long story), so we have decided to move to level 5 instead of level 6 now. Fingers crossed we might get a bid for next year, although we would have to beat some pretty good teams to do so, but its possible.

i would die a thousand times over from freaking out excitement if my mom took me to worlds. i sneak it into conversation all of the time and i WILL go next year no matter what. i know i will never be at a level 5 team realistically and i would love to go and watch my team and all the favorites perform, get a worlds tshirt, trade bows, take pictures, etc.

What is a good hotel (inexpensive would be great) to stay at if you go just to watch and how early should you get there if you want a good seat!!!

I've been every year since 07 to watch after taking a team to compete in 06 - DEFINITELY do it if you are able. So worth it!

I am trying to talk my mom into taking me what are some things I should tell her so it will convince her to talk me!!

I attended Worlds last year with my mom, and for your daughter it would be the experience of a lifetime!!! Just make sure you get there early enough to get a great seat!! All the seats are great, but the ones right near the floor are amazingg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
