question concerning C4's small coed team..
at any competition, their scores will be based off of the amount of athletes they have right? not based off of the max for that division? if so, they may actually fare quite well at Worlds..
I am under the impression you have to max out for the number of athletes you have on the floor, not for what the division's max is. That being said, how many good small teams beat out good large teams on a regular basis? Not many. If this was the case, the large divisions probably wouldn't be so bare. A team could throw 24 to 28 athletes on the floor, go up against the major gyms who max out these divisions, then call it a day.

rvn, the video does not work for me, but no one touches them now from start through land. They all 6 do a level 5 stunt, land, and then they are walked up to and loaded. Don't know if that helps. It looks nice, but not a rules person.
yeah the video only sometimes plays in certain browsers...kinda weird

I believe there are 3 available options on tumbling into the stunt-
Spot the entire pass so that the whole thing is a stunt,
Do the pass independently and then rebound or load into the stunt(this is what I think the most recent version is)
Or catch dip then flip

Or if you get fancy- have the handspring land in a sponge (straight from blocking off the hands to feet in a sponge) and grab a hand and flip

you cannot tumble into a stunt!!!!

Adding @Andre

So in theory this means you can't assist running tumbling other than a BHS, no matter where they land. The only way to make it legal would be to connect before the tumbling begins correct?

I can't think of much else, at least not that's worth doing.

not correct...if there was someone assisting the roundoff and backhandspring through the entire movement, then it would be legal because you are moving from stunt to stunt to stunt
Right. Thats what I said.

Synchronized hair flips bug me... Cheer Savannah lol.

I LOVE RAYS. Green looks fabulous and I love their music. The unis look great how the shoulders are green and when they hit high motions it's blue. I love them even more after seeing them in action :)

& CEA has the most beautiful baskets... and everything else of course.

does anybody have any ca or spirit of texas teams from yesterdays competition?! i really want to see spirits junior team!!

I feel like Lime is going to be the Tsunami of 2010 and the Cali of 2011. Everyone is going to jump on this bandwagon and act like they can do no wrong. It always happens to a very good team, but sometimes their routines can get lost in the hype their fans put on them. Trust me, I KNOW they're a fantastic team and have a ton of talent (and they're flyers all look fairly young so I don't expect them to be fading out in years to come), but I can already tell I'm going to be sick of hearing about them by February.
