I was just wondering where everyone is going for show offs this year! We'll be doing our regular 4 performances at Spirit Celebration competition in Denton, SMU showoff, Navarro Show off and of course the one hosted at SFA.

its just when NCA teams preform their routine for a crowd. No judges no trophys (except at Spirit Celebration, the team that wins gets money toward nationals). So your showing off your Nationals routine. That's all it is.At the risk of sounding stupid, what are show offs? On a learning curve lol
yup. Its so that the first time you preform your routine isnt in Daytona when it counts. Because in college you only get one competition a year if your not in all-stars. So its a chance to get all the butterflies out and become comfortable with the routine and to see what can hit or not hit under pressure, along with everything else you listed. Thanks For my allstar brain to process, sort of like exhibitioning? Practice for the team, fun for the crowd, get your program out there?
Here is Navarro's showoff vid from last yearAt the risk of sounding stupid, what are show offs? On a learning curve lol
It totally depends on the location of the school. In Texas the four I listed most further away from nationals than 2 weeks and a lot of junior colleges attend them.Show-off are uselessly two weeks before you go or during women juco basketball finals in Salina, Kansas for junior colleges anyways
Sweet! thats almost the same schedule as us! Where do you cheer? We are going to Spirit Celebration, SMU show off, some show off in Austin, SFA show off, and SHSU show off.. Then we are most likely doing show offs at Woodlands Elite, Texas Cheer, and Prodigy Allstars
