its hard to follow the call because so many people or on it. However someone (maybe a rep from usasf) is asking for time to hols an emergency meeting on this

I think the whole tshirt thing is rediculous...why do we need to have on a shirt if we're at a cheer competition? Maybe if you're a bit larger and have stuff hangin' over the skirt- thats a different story. But how complicated is it for us to get shirts over our uniforms? ESPECIALLY w/o messing up the hair & makeup that we spend hours perfecting!!

How about everyone get off the call unless you are a coach or owner so they can actually get on and listen in and represent the athletes. Right now it's sounding like a bunch of kids have called in and don't know how to mute their phones and probably isn't helping the case for those trying to fight for you.

If these tumbling changes are TRULY for safety than USASF please do all these teams a favor and make more relevant rule changes, like amount of smoke from smoke machines allowed on the floor while competing, all warm up rooms having a full spring floor, having sound systems that WORK, have lighting that doesn't flicker or go out mid performance. Mandate the companies, NOT the kids.

At least I cheered in a time where I got to throw everything that was just banned in competition... and it wasn't on a spring floor :) several people have texted/messaged me about how I feel... And I'm still On the fence about the new rules.... I just feel they could have been introduced better way instead of so "in your face, this is how it's going to be" no vote? Im am sad about standing fulls, they ARE a classic cheerleading move.... But I understand wanting to teach safe tumbling and proper technique.
Now...The all star image (dress code) I'm completely on board with.... It's about time we set a classy standard.

Going to bed, Where I can only dream of standing fulls and bounding skills :)

P.S. I got married since the last time I've been on the boards, so it's really JennaB now ;)

If EPs see THAT many injuries, maybe they should push the Senior Restricted division more.. because from the looks of some teams this season, they might need that push to not enter Senior 5 just because of their 1 or 2 janky doubles (which most of this revolves around doubles).
