i feel like they dont get into it at all like they used to .. you used to be able to feel the energy but you really dont anymore .. but i still love them
I'm a fan of all 3 (wc, f5, ss). I try not to show any biased... But from what i hear and see, they've had a rough year in general. Going from one routine to a completely new one, trying to get the new routine down, not only that but Courtney is fighting for our industry in the whole NACCC thing going on... I still love them no matter what. They usually work the same routine from July until words. That means they had to start all over again at BATBT in Atlanta last year. I can imagine what they are going through... No matter what the outcome is for them, it's about the climb... Not where they end up...

And personally, I still think they have a good chance at winning worlds against the other big 2 ;-)

totally agree.. i am a huge CEA fan and i think they amazing but i feel like there routine would be 100 bettter if they had more energy though.. and they have 22 new girls on the team its pretty much starting over

Thoughts on Senior Elite:
  • The opening looks much cleaner, miss the standing fulls though.
  • Still wish they had 9 groups doing the main stunt, or even 8 for the full-up part.
  • Right after the full-around in the stunt where they land in the lib, there is always a moment where every flyer is slightly different. If you pause it right when they land in that lib, some have their arms in a high V, some have bent arms like they're trying to catch their balance, and some look like they are about to bobble. It has bothered me all season and had hoped it would get better, but to me it takes away from hitting that difficult stunt like BAM and makes them look a little shaky.
  • LOVE the choreography changes during the running tumbling section through the second stunt. Much more visual, looks clean, and adds some "oomph."
  • Love the variety of baskets throughout the routine for a change.
  • The dance seems longer but I haven't counted it out to know for sure, also like the level changes. A good improvement.
  • Wish they would go back to the original pyramid song from the beginning of the season. I love slow songs during stunts, but something about that song just slows down the energy they had been building throughout the routine and ends it without a bang.
  • I still hate little Maddie ending in a cradle. I wish they would take something out of the pyramid so they have time to have her land in the cradle, and they pose so they could end stronger IMO.
  • Overall, the entire routine looks so much more cleaned up and like they aren't struggling through out. I really am hoping for them to bring it at Worlds.
Finally, Youth Elite is so awesome. I always like to watch Kenley and I cannot believe how much she has improved from the beginning of the season on that team.

I have the same problem I have with SE every year! Energy and music. The stunts yes amazing, but the rest flat. And I feel like there's never any ooomph. The dance ya an improvement but still not great. As much as I fear the teal army I'm
Gonna say it, they need to ditch celine and bring the fire!

That's actually Sharity in the cradle. Little Maddie is behind big Maddie
