it is a difficult decision to make ... especially with the new age grid ...she's nine with a ro bhs tuck and can fly or base so a youth or junior team is fine with us ... it might be the schedule that weighs in most[/quote

Make your decision also by the gym and how comfortable you feel. Just because a gym is talented doesnt mean that you will feel comfortable and that it is a good home for your child. Also, the drive consider when there are extra practices added and other activities that happen throughout the year. Here is my personal input..... Cheerforce is great I love Casey and Jen and they have been in the business for a long time. Cheerforce SD is always clean and sharp. I know that they treat their athletes like family. CA San Diego is limited on teams, but maybe they will have more this year? CA San Marcos is very talented and their best location, but if you personally want your child to grow level wise, I dont think this would be the right fit. It is also a large gym and it can be overwhealming sometimes. PCM is probably to far for you (someone metioned it so Im giving my input), but we have tons (I coach two teams of them) of kids ages 7-10 who are level 3 -4. We are also a very close family. I would suggest you try them all out and what ever vibe you fell is right for your child then that is the correct decision.

We are definitely leaning towards CF SD ... I love the commute and that they have plenty of teams at each age/level so she has room to grow... we were doing CA SD and she loves Burt but the commute was killing me and I know they only had 2 teams this year and she was on SR 2 until we had to stop.... sooooo I don't see where she would be placed??? and then again extra practices and so forth can get costly with gas ... PCM looks great ... watched some youtube and they had some great teams ... but the commute would be like 1 1/2 hrs ... I just hope the schedule works

If you're in the Charlotte area.....and you're looking for a home. Check this out, hot off the video "presses" today.

:cow: Can someone help me understand this? Why would ESPN be giving 20 scholarships to male athletes at GA? I mean I know there are gyms who allow guys to cheer for free in order to pull guys in, but I fail to understand where ESPN fits in with this. Are they just advertising this to get boys to come or what?

Lordy, who knows. Can someone from GA explain?

My gym CAO Elite (located in South Atlanta), is having another tryout May 5 11:00am - 2:00pm. So far we have 10 teams and we have plenty of room too add more kids and we do private tryouts throughout the summer as well. So its never too late too join. We're particularly trying too add more level 4/5 girls and especially guys too our Sr Coed 4/5 squad Fierce! Guys cheer for a HUGE discount as well. If anybody is interested or know somebody that might interested send me a PM to my inbox :)

Our tryouts are Saturday but I have prom so I'm trying out tomorrow. I'm trying out for a IO5 flyer and Sr 4, but I'm hoping I make Sr 5 even though there's a small chance of that happening.
