where i live in MA there's a lot of gyms within an hour of me, actually way more than i had realized
ECE
PRO athletics
JAG cheer
Spirit Central
Bay State All Stars
Full House
Bravo All Stars
Cheer Central Stormz
Cheer Factor
Sparks All Stars
For The Love of Cheer (new gym, as far as i know they're in their second year and they only have a few teams)
Rocket Cheer (this is a gymnastics gym that fields a couple of teams)

wow so that makes 12, i never even realized just how many there were

There is Integrity Cheer Corp in North Oxford as well

The Allstar panthers from GA sold thier location etc to Stingrays. I did hear a rumor that they were re-opening in southern GA or FL but I couldn't say if this is true or if the gym mentioned in the previous post is the original from GA. If that makes any sense at all....

Edit - just noticed my previous post lost it's quote to the other list of ATL gyms :-(
Also sorry for the typos, phone + 3am = should be sleeping :)

The allstar panthers have reopened in Bluffton, SC.

I'm in the Westchester County New York/Fairfield County Connecticut area, and there are a ton of gyms here too!

Infiniti Elite Athletics (my gym!)
Cheer Jamz
Extreme Force
Champion All Stars
Take One All Stars (These two are prob 5 min from each other, and I pass both of them on the way to my gym from my house)
Gym City Lites
World Challenge
Westchester Gymnastics (although I don't think they are having a team this year)
Northeast tropics
Gold Coast
Xtreme cheer (ny and ct gyms are both within an hour)

There are also always ones that pop up for a year or so but don't stick around. There would probably be more in my area, but it's it so freaking hard to find a building, and the gymnastics programs want an arm and a leg to rent from them!

theres about 5 gyms within an hour of me, probably 2 or 3 gyms within 2 hours, and about 3 within 3 hours, theres probably a lot im forgetting, but my gym is 4 hours from my house

there is really only two other gyms close to keystone extreme and they are west side starz and all star cheer academy

There are 5 gyms in Harford County, MD alone. It only takes about 30/45 minutes to get from one end of the county to the other.

Vipers is the oldest.
Eastern Elite started 2 or 3 years ago and is growing.
Heat had one team last year.
Xclusive and Diamond Pro both started this year.

It makes me wonder what people think starting a gym in such a saturated area. Not only are these programs close together, but Twisters and Marlins are less than an hr away from most parts of Harford County and Titanium is 30 minutes over the border into PA.

Living in South Eastern PA there are a lot of gyms in PA, NJ, and DE that you can reach within an hour from my house
PA
-State All Stars
-Penn Elite All Stars
-Spring Valley Heat
-PA Spirit Explosion
-KX Athletics
-Cheer Factor
-Dream Extreme
-Dynasty Spirit Elite
-Five Star Extreme
-Kehlers

NJ
-NJ Spirit Explosion
-South Jersey Storm
-Jersey Pride
-TNT Elite
-Hamiliton Starz

DE
-East Coast Nitros
-Tri State Cheernastics
-Diamond Elite

There is also Island Xtreme East in Medford and CheerNation in Riverhead but they are both a little further east, and I think there are even a few more run out of gymnastic gyms.
I have a beach house in East Quogue and we've been coming out here since I was a toddler and I NEVER knew there was a gym in Riverhead!

within an hour, I can't even begin to count the number of gyms. there's gyms I didn't even know exist till this past season. There's seriously SO many NC gyms compared to the size of our state.

In my county-there are at least 4 gyms-all but one have Level 5 teams, there is another gym, just one county over that has level 5 also, and some rec programs in the area too. Most of the gyms are the same size, except one is part of a much larger program. Two gyms have a large competitive Dance program along with cheer-we just do AllStars.

CEA Raleigh, Premier Clayton Shockers, Cheer Carolina, Elite Cheer and Dance, and Carolina Legacy are all within an hour of where I live.
I've been with most of them and can tell you that they all have their ups and downs, but where I am now is the best for my family :]
I'd say that some of the gyms like to think that they're rivals of others, but honestly they can't keep up for the most part. My gym now doesn't really worry too much about "rivals" or the other competition really, we just strive to do our best and hopefully come out on top. [:

If I am willing to drive 1-3 hours, you can add CEA Sanford, CEA K-ville, CEA Greenville, EC Cats, Aviators, Infinity Cheer Empire, Cheer Infinity, Cheer Mania, Victory!, Charlotte, Charlotte Extreme, etc. I'm sure there are more.

NC is packed with gyms....

From Kemah Texas:
1) Infinity All Stars
2) Sonic
3) All Star Revolution
4) University Cheer Air Force
5) Reflex
6) Pearland Elit
7) Prodigy All Stars
8) Texas Lonestar

These are just the ones that I know of. I am positive that I have left out so, so many. My apologies.

Wish we had a few more options, but not that many!! Once you have so many choices it will run the gyms right into the ground. We have only 2 decent gyms in our town of about 300,000...sometimes I wish we just had one because we would be so much better.
