True, but come to California. It's all about scholarships and the best offers for the best athletes. I feel a lot of gyms do that nowadays.....or is it just me?:help:

Was going to say I wonder what was offered on the West Coast also that would entice a move? Makes you wonder now doesn't it. Look there is only so much level 5 talent to go around in a geographic area, when a team is short it is a lot easier to recruit than develop.

It's my Panther Party and I'll cry if I want to..I love you for this btw :p And for coaching volleyball.

So I missed the Gianni email and even though I've gotten the gist of it (threatening to sue even though he admits everything was true, nice court suits, etc)..does anyone have the original? The google doc was taken down and I need a laugh after the crazy that's been my day..

let me know if you get your hands on it

I was just browsing throught Trinity's tryout packet. It says that Gianni has to approve any major hair changes. Say what??? Is this common at other gyms, because I've never heard of a child having to get permission from their allstar coach to change their hair?

I would agree with that policy if I'm being honest. Especially with flyers.

anyone else a little scared to post things about trinity in fear of getting sued?.. just me? oh okay:enjoyshow:

You know most of us can't keep our mouths shut, even with the threat of being sued...

I am ironically reading this post in my Business Law class, and from my perspective of the situation Gianni should just settle this between the other 2 parties (aka the 2 twitter accounts) one on one, instead of going through the whole court process and dealing with the cost & delays that occur in court...

Not super common but yes I've heard of it. Some high school teams here in SC even do it. Especially teams that still use hairpieces.

1st off... I'm completely disgusted!!! 2nd--- so so disappointed in what this sport has become!!! Parents spend thousands for their athletes to cheer, sacrifice in most cases so that their kid can do what they love!!! This is Cheerleading! Give me a break!! I'm disgusted by Trinity! I'm disgusted by this "Cheerlebrity" crap! I'm disgusted that someone would actually want to "sue" a twitter bc he posted facts!!! This man bribed cheerleaders!! People... Really??? I will stand up before everyone & so will half my friends and say "this is embarrassing" at so many levels... For this sport we love, for the gyms thAt would never stoop to this level, to the kids that don't want to be "cheerlebrities" ... They just want to do what they love!! We are giving this way to much attention and it needs to stop! And honestly, if he wants to sue Cheer Updates.... I'm sure there are plenty of people that will stand up for the truth of this sport! Obviously some have lost their damn minds!! I've never said this before... But will say it now! College cheer can't come soon enough for me! ;) congrats to some for ruining this sport!!
I love everything about this...

This is getting a bit out of hand. 95% of the people replying to this thread don't have anything to do with the situation (myself included).
