my biggest cheer pet peeve is people that insist that the coaches keep their mental blocked tumbling in the routine, if you cant throw it at practice you cant throw it at comp!

I cheered with one girl who used to have beautiful tumbling. She was a huge mental case and wouldn't throw anything anymore. Then at nationals she would throw it. Granted, it was only standing tumbling in the jump section and she was in the back so if she didn't it wasn't the end of the world, but still.

Everyone expected me to be like her, but nope, I had a real mental block. I wasn't throwing anything.

When I say "good job" to a team and they look at me like I'm dirt. Didn't anyone teach you manners?
I say good job/good luck to every team I see in warmups (good luck) or after performing (good job). most of the time I get ignored.
Bad sports in general. If i'm in the bathroom with you and I hear you talking about another team... or if I say "I really like your guys' bows! They're cute" and you ignore me..... GRRR

When flyers aren't flexible enough to hold the bottom of their foot on a heelstretch, but instead hold their ankle.
-Jumps that have flexed feet and land their legs a mile wide apart.
-Slow tumblers
-Sloppy hair and makeup looks like its been thrown on at the last second.
-When flyers stick their elbows out on full downs/double downs.
-Bad music.
-Not being ready (hair down, makeup not on, uniform off) when you get to the arena.
-Girls walking around with their uniform unzipped and skirts unbuttoned after the routine.
-Inconsiderate teams that walk infront of you in the middle of watching someones routine.
-Teams that take forever to get off the warm up mat.
-Sloppy motions
-When bases/flyers give up

I agree with those all!
-Girls that goof off and aren't serious about practice and performing
- Girls that are constantly not tight
- people that show up late to a comp
- people that just give up in stunts when they fall and don't try to save them
- girls that don't come to practice
