I was coached by him as well! During his time at ACX. He really is hilarious and has such a great eye for choreography. I've competed 3 or 4 routines that he's done.

I love and miss him terribly. My 4 years at Dynasty with him were probably my favorite memories of allstar cheelreading.

Funny that so many of you seem surprised by Cheer Savannah's dance. They've been popping and locking for years now haha.

i remember this routine and dance....i believe she did this the entire season and im assuming she was never deducted for it granted i dont see how...and this was a youth team?!

I love the Force Black routine, awesome choreography and showmanship, but those uniforms..... To me there's just nothing appropriate about them at all.

Sorry, 7 finals in 6 days makes me grumpy

I do too.. its different from the normal fierce diva all star dances that most teams have.

First, the old cheer savannah video:
Just no. I might understand that as a senior team, but YOUTH?!?!? N.O.

Secondly the dance video on the basketball court: I'm all for a few counts of age appropriate popping....3 consecutive 8 counts though. Too much for me. To me this is the type of dance/choreo that makes cheerleading seem like a trashy (sorry I couldn't come up with a better term; I had a few other words but that seemed te most PG) sport. Again, that's my opinion! I just think there were/are other choreo options than grinding/popping/twerking.

As a parent (which I'm not, so I don't pretend to speak for others) if I saw those videos or dances I would seriously reconsider my child joining that squad. I feel that there are other ways to demonstrate someone's ability to dance.

First off, I died laughing at this! And second, I like how all the girls rock it in the beginning part of the dance, sort of like a "catch their breath" moment then twerk it out... I can't even with them! Lol

And I can't with Cheer Savannah's skirts..... Someone said last year that our girl's skirts, Rock Solid, were wayyy too short... But ours weren't that bad! Lol

Not one uniform in the cheer world covers the butt lol not going to lie but I get what you're saying!! Regardless that dance is still caaaaute

i know short skirt its the tea in cheer but, imo, you should not be able to see the skirt halfway up the waist on a fronspot/base while stunting. i get it when tumbling and all.. But, i guess im a bit old fashioned
but i do like most of the dance

It's not just the popping (to the extent of which I personally haven't seen in a routine before) but like 2 counts later the two girls in the front striking a slightly inappropriate pose. I get that homegirl was excited, I would be too. But it's not just that that's turning me off. I agree, the uniforms don't exactly help.

I agree! There is a time and a place for that, and it might not be o the mat. But with that said, the girls got moves tho.

Skirts are too short. I personally have no other real problem with their uniform, but our new uniforms came in and I am praying the briefs have more to them than that. I like the spankie style, just covers a little more for under skirts.. I do like skirts best personally. But also even having skirts and briefs same color helps. Our skirts are longer, though. Sent another mom who has same concerns the video to them and a level 3 team that had similar style but their skirts covered them. savannah is on at least second year of that uniform. Maybe everyone grew. If my cp hadn't just received uniform that had me questioning that same issue, I may not have noticed.

Gianni always recycles his "innovative" choreography. I thought it was just these more recent years since he has more clients, but who knew it went back to 2004.
