All-Star Who Would You Consider To Be Orange's Rival In Medium 5?

So maybe i am missing something. I love some teal and am obsessed with their music so like a normal cheer fan i wad looking for videos and where they had/were competing. In the process I saw they had competed twice and had lost both times to greensboro allstars a small sr 5 team that seems to be relatively unknown or at least not talled aboit much. So of course i looked for a video of this team with no luck. So i am wondering #1 is greensboro allstars a new contender in small 5 seeing as they have beaten teal not once but twice and grand champ at the comp this past weekend in nc from results page or #2 is teal really not up to the normal talent of teal and has cea coming in really hurt them that bad. (Which i am praying is not the case!)

I've only seen Teal in person at the exhibition so these impressions are from coaches and other parents! Greensboro does have a strong SM SR 5 this year. Their tumbling is much improved most likely due to the new tumbling coach. Most importantly however is Greensboro hit their routines at both competitions and Teal did not. Teal's routine is capable of being very competitive but they have to hit it outside of practice.

As far as the talent, the struggle has been more about the loss of graduating seniors this past year. In addition several of those seniors were seasoned competitors that had been on Teal for 4 and 5 years. Obviously Teal is very young but they also have a lot of talent. I expect not hitting at competitions has more to do with the experience of the kids and getting used to the pressure of being on a recognized team. If they can pull off this year then they will continue to be an immensely strong team for many more years to come. As far as being a strong competitor against Orange? Well is anyone a strong competitor against Orange right now? Haha!

Shouldn't you people actually see the FULL aces routine before you just kick them out of the top 5 lol

I just think the routine is too similar to last years. Like last year, lacks difficulty. IMO.

That lack of difficulty got them 2nd at worlds beating some of them better teams!! They will be just fine this year

Great for them, they were awesome last year, they just didn't have the difficulty of the rest of the top five to me.

I agree! I love Aces, but I feel like their stunt sequence is the same just the order changed. Actually now that I really think about it, their whole routine is practically the same but with some changes. But maybe they'll change it up or maybe they already have? Either way I like them and I'd like to seem them up their difficulty and change their routine up!

I'm not saying they aren't a talented team or bashing them - the routine just looks so similar to last year. That division at worlds was kind of a trainwreck - literally only 3 teams in the top ten hit a great and solid routine in finals. I think you're being a little defensive by people not having them at number 1 right now. I mean, have them at the top of the list all year long for all anyone else cares... Works both ways. Sorry not sorry.

In retrospect, I truly think Teal could take a medal this year - they look awesome.

Im really excited to Lady Jags! I dont want to have to wait until cheersport though Anyone know why they are waiting that late to compete? Are they having a lot of injuries or people quit or something?
