this is why i think SE, WC and panthers are on the top of my list. its the end of january. regardless of how many comps these teams have been to, they've had months worth of practicing. i get maybe the first one or two competitions teams look a little shaky cause of nerves or whatever, but by next comp all these teams should really have that all worked out by now. i know SS next comp is in a few days, dont really know about the others.

SE Majors in Hi-Def

I don't think I will ever fully respect or appreciate their first stunt sequence until they hold those scales for 2 maybe 3 additional counts. They hit the scale and immediately drop down. Hopefully that changes in the future once they start hitting better at the top because theres always a group or 2 that doesn't hit at the top, but its sweep under the rug because the scales are coming down quick anyway....

And the only stunt they perform as a team is the high to high tick tocks in the last sequence. Pyramid is amazing and can't be touched tho!

That was my point earlier, with each performance, they get better and more entertaining....look at the difference in the Sat and Sun videos for SS at Spirit this past weekend.

This is not CEA specific, but I will never understand the appeal of doing a junior team with baby flyers if you're on a senior, competitive team of the same level.
Looks like the little flyer on SE and this team dyed her hair .. Love it ! lol a little young for that but I still think it came out really good (random I know)

I'm assuming for things like: extra tumbling time, a chance to work a different stunt role (Base on Jrs---> Flyer on Srs), etc.

You have the intense athleticism, a chance to compete on the Worlds stage, and the social benefits of being around athletes your same age when you're on the older team while you have a chance to compete more than once, get to reinforce/show off different skills/ talents, and work in more conditioning with your other team.

People knock crossovers for obvious reasons, but once CSP kinda clarified her philosophy, I truly think it makes perfect sense. Do I think it's too much if a gym with say 40 level 5 athletes tries to make a medium senior and small junior with 10 crossovers, maybe. But as an ex competitive dancer who was always in at least 4-7 numbers PER competition, I get the appeal of wanting to do multiple teams.

i'm sorry but champion's cheer tumbling is not up to par right now.

Haha, I do this all the time, but reading this makes me now question. Who and/or what are we actually sorry about when we say stuff like this...?

Like are you sorry that they have bad tumbling? Can't be, it's not your fault.

Are you feeling sorry FOR them knowing there's several teams who are gonna outscore them in tumbling? Don't, they just need to be in the gym working harder.

Well I'm sorry because I have been someone who has been up in arms when people have pointed out tumbling errors before.
