...That looked a LOT better than I thought it was supposed to, coming from the tweets.

Although two things:
1) I don't think they hit that scale any shorter than most teams hit their heel stretch before going to another skill.

1. Me too. From the CU tweet I was expecting it to be really bad. That was still pretty darn good.

2. AGREED about the scales. Everyone's complaining that they don't actually "hit" them but in my opinion it's more of an execution thing that they have to keep working on rather than a problem with choreo and not having enough counts. If you watch Gabie do the sequence every time she actually "hits" pretty definitively. It's just that the rest of the flyers are going to have to start being just as sharp for it to look clean.

1) I after re-watching the Senior Elite video, they honestly didn't look as bad as CU made it look like. They still look great even with the mistakes. And holy land of doubles, SE has come very far.

2) ECE J5 blows my mind every time, they're just.. wow.

3) Liking the new F5 changes, but still can't get into to them..

4) I think my obsession with FAB5 is getting a little out of hand.. they're so perfect. Def a top worlds contender!

This was our second competition & we were very happy with the turnout considering we practice once a week & half of our guys have never cheered before. We're excited about the win & are eager to correct our mistakes & get better each competition

I only saw maybe the last minute of the routine, but yeah otherwise they probably would've competed in the medium senior division, what's confusing me is why they're using their name that they used for their small senior?

Each CF gym names their teams different some do it after colors while the simi location names their teams after rocks haha. Sapphirez, diamonds, rockstars etc.... So since they are from that location they kept the name going around.....

Not going to make a whole separate thread for this but I just heard that since Twist and Shout Genesis didn't get a bid this weekend they won't be at Worlds. I hate that they won't get to defend their worlds title! =(

Though I would have been competing against them, I'm sad to read this, they were my favourite team in 2012.

I do. Have known her for years - my daughter did gymnastics with her when they were 4-7 years old ..then cheered together also for awhile. But I don't want to give out any personal info.

I didn't mean to sound rude - I meant to say I didn't feel comfortable giving out her info without her knowledge - I am glad that you found a way! She is a sweet girl.
