All-Star 2012-2013 New Uniforms

I can agree with the fact their a little plain, however there was a team as advanced spirit in MA a couple weeks ago and they had all black uniforms and they looked amazing on the floor. Maybe if there was a little more rhinestones on the skirt like on the waist band or something I dunno but I know those OA unis will look really nice on the floor !

I just think they're so plain. Like I feel like I could have bought an underarmour top and rhinestoned it myself. I think it could look like simple and clean in a good way, but I prefer a little more on a uniform.

Iagree. IMO it should have been V-ringed instead of polo neck, I think that would have made it less plain. Now it reminds me of those shells you used to use under old school uniforms(always hated them, felt like i was suffocating).

I do really enjoy the all black Orlando uniform but it is very plain and reminds me of practice wear. I wish it had just a little bit more to it but I do believe it will look fantastic on the floor. I remember filling in on half year teams when they needed kids and our uniforms were very similar and plain for cost so I can see why less is more on this uniform.

We got them today, and while I still think they're plain, it's growing on me. It's very comfy. And the rhinestones were really sparkly in my bathroom mirror (typical girl, had to take selfies in the mirror ) so I bet they'll be even more sparkly on the floor.

I really like the colour combo but the sizes of both the skirt and top look weird. Id love to see one up close.

The way the design is on the skirt it makes their hips look wider than what I'm guessing they actually are :/ if the stripes were just vertical down either side of the skirt it might stop that happening?

I think maybe the skirts are longer than a lot of skirts in this thread- they seem to start higher and finish lower.

Yeah I just noticed that now you said. The length on the legs is an appropriate length just maybe if it wasn't as high waisted/ if high waisted more like the college style uniforms

If the design on the top of the skirt was on the bottom then it would be perfect.

Its cause they're actually an appropriate leg length..we're used to what are essentially cheer mini skirts lol. The design at the waist area (which is also higher) makes the hips look wider.

Haha, it's what I was thinking. As much as I love cheetahs' skirts, they're tiny!

And although the skirts look a bit odd maybe in the pictures they looked great in person when I saw them at the weekend so maybe it's just the pictures? Or maybe I'm just unobservant in person/hypercritical on the board
