but the difference is top gun accounts for that. with the bigger chested girls, they get bigger uniforms. whereas the dallas cowboys do that intentionally to GET cleavage. i just googled it and couldnt find a top gun girl with cleavage anywhere near what that is (or at all)

I agree that there is a difference because the cowboys intentionally show cleavage. But saying there is no possibility that a top gun girl is able to have cleavage in her uniform is completely ridiculous

This is going so off topic, I apologize but I have to ask what makes you say they literally cheer? Because I don't think they do anymore leading of cheers than allstar girls do.

Sorry, but I love how everyone gets all bent out of shape when people rag on allstar cheer, but everyone on here is QUICK to rag on other people. And as to the Top Gun thing I guess y'all weren't here for Nipplegate! I sure saw more than cleavage... (still love me some Top Gun but some of their uniforms are super revealing)

Yeah...I'm actually defending the dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. .. I just really don't like how allstar cheerleaders hate being stereotyped but love to stereotype other people.

Um...when Top Gun first wore those black and white tube top like uniforms with the criss crossy arm things there were some...wardrobe malfunctions and some more than cleavage was revealed. The photos from the event were posted and I seriously almost died. They took the offending photos down but not before many of us saw them.

Like I said, I love me some Top Gun but they certainly aren't going to win any "The dallas Cowboys cheerleaders show too much skin" arguments.

I remember "nipple gate", but as iconic, I love the Capri pant uniforms from TG.
As for the "cheer" word, I always say athlete when referring to all star. If I say it enough sooner or later it will stick! Not that school isn't athletic, but you have to cheer in school. ALLSTARS don't.

I think the major problem with the Dallas cowboy cheerleading uniforms is that when choosing their teams they take into consideration how they actually look in the uniform when choosing their teams. It was on a show they did about their team. They do body measurements, BMI and all that stuff where as allstar gyms don't take that into consideration when choosing their teams. On their team, I am pretty sure they do have women who have previous cheer experience but that doesn't mean they are cheerleaders in the traditional sense of the word. They dance. I know a cheerleader that cheers for a professional sports team in my city and she even says they aren't cheerleaders they are dancers. Also on a side note and not on topic, isn't there an NFL team that does stunt on the sidelines?

I believe the Green Bay Packers cheerleaders do more of a collegiate style cheer. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure they are all actual college cheerleaders! So cool!

I completely agree. They are dancers that hold poms. I know a few girls I cheered with who are phenomenal collegiate level cheerleaders. One is an amazing flyer with an amazing body, she looks like she could be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She has tried out for NFL cheer squads (and I use the term "cheer squads" lightly) but has been cut every single time because she doesn't have dance experience. And I have never been to an NFL game where I actually see the cheerleaders do a cheer. Just dance.
I'm not saying what they do is easy, if anyone wants to jump down my throat, it takes a lot of experience and skill to become a DCC, but it's mainly dance experience and skill. Not cheerleading.

Rays current uniforms are definitely iconic. They just look so fierce and..like strong!
