My issue with this is the anonymous bomb thrower aspect of it all.

If @king or @TheUltimateFan or @Just-a-Mom or @mstealtoyou etc says something on here, I'm going to believe them or at least give them the benefit of the doubt because I know them. I know who they are and they aren't likely to risk their reputation by intentionally posting false information. I have no idea who @icheergirl is. Doesn't mean she's wrong or lying, but I have no reason to give anything she says any credence.

What if she's been told all of this and it's all made up? What does she have to lose? Nothing. Again, I'm not saying she's wrong just that she has no skin in the game on this board. So she has a higher standard to meet for me.

What I tend to find is people who do these type of 'drive by postings' as I like to call them are trying to let the cat out of the bag before those involved can release it on their own schedule. It is rarely done with good intentions and usually done in the same manner every time: ask a question.

I heard a rumor that ACEDAD eats guinea pigs. Is it true?

By asking a question they usually start people digging to get out the information. I'll talk to my friend who knows ACEDAD personally to find out if he really does eat guinea pigs and then I will come on to say, why yes it is true that he does eat them. I can freely state what I know because someone asked a question and I am just answering. The original question asker had the full intention of making sure everyone knows what they know. There really isn't a way to combat it, but I always know the intention of the person asking. And the second I delete something like this I am usually 'confirming' it's existence by deleting it. Why would I delete some malarchy if it was untrue? We would just talk it out like everyone always does. But if something is deleted then it MUST be true (even if it isn't).

This makes sense - and not just because I was included. I think there's a lot to this idea. Because you're right - I'm not going to just come on here and post any old thing without verifying it with at least a few people that know it to be true. Because I post on here regularly, and many people on here (I'd even say just about everyone at this point) know, or could easily find out, who I am in real life. I'm not really interested in making myself look like an idiot or a liar to thousands of people. Whereas someone who is completely anonymous can pretty much say what they want and then sit back and watch the fallout.

Its obvious that there was an issue and a number of girls left. I don't know why. But I'll be stunned if the rest of @icheergirl 's info is correct and I really believe the gym will find its footing and come out of this better than before.
