Nothing about Senior Elite ever excites me. They have undeniable talent but no 'WOW!' factor that I think teams like WCSS and F5 have. Senior Elite does a routine. The best teams put on a performance.

Is everyone forgetting that this is OCTOBER and not January... they don't have to be "performing" their routine just yet. The skills are clearly still being worked out/ practiced/ becoming muscle memory. Relax.


My one criticism is that it honestly does feel too much like last year's routine. Simple things like the fact that they have literally the same jump sequence that goes right into 3 girls doing 1.5 through to doubles to start running tumbling... I was expecting a new twist from them this year, but time will tell. In the game of comparison, Panthers won me over in terms of first impression as compared to SE thus far.

But why try to be a team you're not? Just because it's not a "performance" (that word has been irritating me the past year) to some people doesn't mean it's not entertaining to others. And it doesn't mean it's not 1st place worthy. And if you plan on performing every time, you need to make sure you're consistent.
