I've always loved Brandon (still do), but I'm going to hold out on saying that I'm obsessed with them just yet. This is probably the first year my jaw isn't on the floor with their stunting [creativity]. After their Worlds performance last year, I was just expecting something much more insane. Of course that routine is amazing for the average team, but idk... I don't feel the "we're hungry, we're taking our title back, last year was SUPER fluke watch us werk" vibe from their performance like I was expecting."

As amazing as they are, I would have appreciated at least one decent layout in the running tumbling section. For the most part, I'm guessing they can do good layouts, just not on the end of speciality passes, because their "whips" in the sync section looked decent, but still.

I love that Brandon Sr. Black routine. I can't wait to see them add more difficulty to stunts (not that they really need to haha). I would love to see all the groups do the pike on the back to the stretch that the middle does while the middle does it but adds a full to it. I would die.

You're new. I'll explain this:
Some of these people have been around for ages. We're old, bones creak, can't do our tricks anymore. Some are parents who have been here probably longer than you have been alive. Just because we/they/he/she can't do those things, doesn't mean we either A) Are unfamiliar with the mechanics or B) Are unfamiliar with score sheets. Sometimes we're old and both of those things don't apply- but said posters are usually pretty upfront with that sort of info (aka parents).

Opinions of expectations for a team are common. If they said they were bad, I'd get you. They were commenting on routines style. That has ZERO to do with skills- even the skills you want to see from the poster.
