you have to be kidding me... the lights went out for maybe 5 seconds in which they didnt miss a beat and they get to redo their routine over?? and have the WHOLE thing re-scored???

kinda surprised they got to do the whole thing over, it doesnt seem like the lights going out for a few seconds had anything to do with what happened in the pyramid.

The whole thing wasn't rescored. If you look above at the scoresheet, you'll see that they had deductions for their falls. If was only rescored from after the lights went out forward. That happens to other teams and they get to do over. Why wouldn't SE get the same opportunity?

Pyramid aside...the lights had nothing to do with any of the multiple mistakes made before the pyramid...yet *poof* they're gone. Wish I could say I'm shocked at the result...

this is the part that kinda irked me. there was no injuries and they competed the 2nd time almost 3 hours later. it's not senior elites or their coaches fault they just did what ASC told them to do but i just didn't think that was right.

Not that this hasn't been mentioned already, but the only reason they redid the entire routine is because it's not fair to just start at the pyramid because they're not as tired as they would be if they would have just done a whole routine. It needed to be fair.

Also, if you watch other teams if other comps and they have an injury or a mishap and get the opportunity to redo their routine, I've never known them NOT to do the whole routine? I've never seen a team jus re-do their pyramid or just re-do their dance. They always do the whole routine. BUT just because they did the whole routine, does not mean that the whole thing was re-scored.

it was all rescored. they only had .5 in deductions and are in lead for the all girl bid.

but supposably they got the entire routine re scored when they did it over the second time based on looking at their score after day one. its shown on cheer updates. someone earlier mentioned it.
