All-Star 2013-2014 New Uniforms

I'm with yea there! I hate uniform sleeves touching my wrists! But it makes the sleeves look really awkward. I feel like if they're goingto do 3/4 they should be even shorter

I kind of like it because they're just a little touch of different. Athletic looking and practical, yet beautiful at the same time. These are uniforms we need to go back to!

Cannot believe I am going there, but isn't taking bras into account when designing a uni part of the process?

An athlete on a pretty well known team contacted me this summer about how they want new unis for NCA and they athletes are able to submit designs or if they knew anyone that could design something. Anyways, he texted me last night with the idea for a design which was basically a tube top with sleeves but the rest was covered with mesh. And I was like there is no way to have a bra with this uniform if you want a tube top! And I did not want to design something that I thought athletes & parents wouldn't be comfortable in or comfortable letting their kids wear. I couldn't believe that a coach would come up with that. But it was actually an athletes idea, which also surprised me since I would have thought a female athlete would be concerned with what type of bra to wear. I came up with a way to have the design idea they came up with but also incorporate a sports bra into the design. Maybe they'll use it, who knows.

ETA: the new ECE uniform is nice. It doesn't wow me but it is pretty.

I'm sorry, but how are you involved with KE? An owner? A Coach? An Athlete? Because you are CLEARLY part/close to the program. And quite frankly, you are doing a terrible job at representing them right now. Everything you do or say reflects back on your gym, so I'd be more careful if I were you.

But @DannJMartin are you a coach at Keystone Extreme? Or an athlete? Because either way, I hope someone has let your gym know how you're representing them on here and on twitter. I don't know your program but if I were them I would not want my program name represented in such a way. Frankly, I don't really care about your uniform either way, because it doesn't affect me in the slightest and I cannot imagine I will ever see it in person or know anyone who wears it, but I am appalled by your behavior. Unless your picture is not of you, you appear to old enough to know better.
