All Newbies - PLEASE READ!

Is there a specific time of day, day of week, regular commute or one time trip, etc....

we weren't really sure yet....we are moving up to VA from FL and we are about an hour away from Maryland Twisters so I just wanted to see how it was with all the traffic and everything since I know traffic in the VA/MD area can be so horrible that it doesn't even move!

I don't live there but from some experience can tell you the traffic at rush hour gets worse as you get north of DC into Baltimore. Rush hour there can last up till 6:30-7:00.

Are you from MD twisters? and what time would you recommend leaving if traffic was really bad...me & my daughter share this account also so sometimes it's me and sometime's it is her. But CC's school get's out at 3:00pm, so if it takes an hour with no traffic and rush hour can go until 7pm at the maximum, what would you recommend doing? Driving straight to twisters or going home and then going to twisters....this is all so confusing to me in my opinion:help:

No, I am not from the area. Just have driven through there a lot for work.
This would get more replies on the main boards. I would recommend you get your own account and head to the parent forum. Lots of adults there willing to help.

I would recommend calling MD Twisters gym. They didn't go to Cheersport so I bet someone there can get you a specific answer.

As a parent of all stars and a HS cheerleader, I found out something interesting this weekend. My daughters have been doing all star cheer for over 8 years so I'm fairly familiar with the rules. Now as my oldest has retired her all star uniform and is now on her school competitive team I have found myself lost, as the rules are completely different. Her school team has now made it to regionals! I never knew that the rules for High School Cheer were much more difficult than those of all star cheer (in my state). Now remember I'm not speaking about difficulties, just the rules. I found that very interesting.
