There are at least 10 gyms in a 45 minute radius of my house. We currently drive 40 minutes to CP's gym. CEA Kernersville is about an hour & 30 minutes away. I just can't imagine driving that far, my husband would think I'd lost my mind!

I have lots of family in Jersey and when my aunt comes to visit my family (Virginia), we have to pump her gas for her. Talk about a gas diva! She's lucky I love her.

You all are welcome to come to NJ...however we have rules:

1. If you are not going to at least attempt to drive the speed limit, please move over to the right lane.
2. No left turns. We have jug handles. Please move over to the right lane.
3. Summer shore traffic is the worst. Please move over to the right lane.
4. You don't know where you are going, and not having left turns make it worse. Please move over to the right lane.

Basically, when all else fails, just move over to the right lane.

As I continue the hijacking of this thread with discussion of all things NJ...JUG HANDLES!!! I totally forgot about those. Dh is from the top of the Jersey Shore and I had to take Route 36 when I would visit him way back in college. I never understood why they couldn't have utilized a simple left turn only lane....And summer shore traffic :banghead:. We would coordinate schedules so we would both have off Mondays and I would drive down to the shore from NY on Sunday nights, so I was basically driving by standstill traffic heading back to the city. My inlaws still live in Jersey and I have a rule that I will not ever visit them on a Sunday between Memorial and Labor Day.

Good rule! And 36 sucks...if you hit 1 light, you hit them all

Haha, I like that, gas diva! Sadly, no. NJ and Oregon are the 2 states with laws against pumping your own gas.

true life i put the wrong gas in my car the other day. this is why someone pumps it for me. i am going to school in upstate new york and not only do i now have to pump my own gas, but i have to do it in freezing temperatures, and it's crazyyy expensive compared to NJ. how are our prices so low even though we pay people to pump it for us? and why can't the rest of the country do the same? i found a gas station in town that has attendants, so i excitedly drove the extra mile. and then the man expected a tip. like no, sorry sir, we don't have to tip you to do your job?

Wait...you don't have to tip in NJ?!?! If you can find a full-service in NY, they always expect tips. So, I just thought I should tip when I go to NJ. Good to know!

We have some full service by me in NY - there are certain towns which also have the no self-pump laws. No tips needed/expected.

There are about 4-5 gyms around me that are in between 10-45 min of a drive but I choose to go to a gym that is 2 hours away to be on a worlds team

My gym is the closest to me and it's amazing there :p 15 mins in normal traffic, 12 or so if there it's much. The most it gets to is 18 or so in rush hour. Another gym is around 25 mins from me, too.
