I felt that way as soon as I saw a video of them shortly after they debuted the uniform. Their performance is just so wow that nothing else matters.
^^^^Top Gun is a team whose skills simply do not allow for focus on what they're wearing.

You're like "oh that uniform is weird, who thought of putting collars on -- LOOK AT THAT BASKET!"
I think the reason I felt I needed to comment is that I was shocked. LOL I saw the performance and was so totally WOWed by it that I was clueless that it was "the" uniform. I think it might be because they only wore the straps on the back....

Well since fierceboard now changes the word a** to booty..... "It makes a booty outta you and me"!? ;) :D

I realise I assumed a lot of things, however in my opinion. It looks to me like that was the situation, might be, might not be. Not trying to say its fact!

P.S This has been bugging me for ages, is your prof picture on here from a tv show? Because I feel like it is, but I can't remember!!

I think the prof picture is from How I Met Your Mother!

Does anyone know if in other performance based sports such as dance or gymnastics the athletes are required to cover up their tattoos?
Or is it the decision of the coach/athlete?
CP is also a competitive dancer and tattoos are required to be covered;in fact, every studio she's been apart of,requires the girls to tell them and get the studios owner approval before they do any major change to their body. Hair color and hair cuts, had to be approved by the owner before they could be done and I've actually seen girls be replaced on the team or taken off the competition team for the weekend, due to unapproved changes.

^^^^Same is true for some NFL/NBA dance teams (i.e. DCC/Laker Girls.)

How you appear at tryouts is how you're expected to appear for the season. This means no added tattoos or "Oh I just felt like getting a red bob over the weekend" when you started the season as a long hair blonde.

Same even for some college programs! A close by SEC programs coach flipped over a girl I know getting bangs.

As long as you're told ahead of time, it's a case of "can you follow directions." I have no problem with it. You have May through November to do whatever you want. December through April, you're mine. That means no blue hair (our uniforms are red and black) and no new piercings, tattoos, etc.

I'm not the gym owner, and we don't have this policy. BUT we haven't had any issues with girls doing something totally stupid like that.

I agree with you. I've heard moms complain about it,but I don't have a problem with it. If you really want, that red bob, eyebrow piercing or tattoo, you'll still want it after the season is over. All the owner is asking you to do is follow rules, that you agreed too;it shouldn't be hard.

Sorry if it seemed I was fighting you! I was just jumping off your point. :p

Oh no,no,no! Didn't seem like you were fighting at all! Just agree with you or explaining even more, but nope,I didn't think you were fighting at all! I think without emojis or explanation points it seems like we're fighting! Lol

Looks like Beatles' new crop tops are here! And they are fabulous! (holy sparkle--in a good way)

Love how much detail was put into these uniforms!

Didn't somebody call this a while ago, that Top Gun would come out with custom shoes?

Edit: "Maybe the future of cheerleading will include custom shoes for every uniform. A totally unnecessary extra cost but my "sneaker head" roommate would love it. "

She's a cheer psychic, y'all!
