All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

If the full top was a crop it would look beautiful, but the blue stomach is weird to me. I like the crops! I wasn't attached to their old ones and it's nice to see them doing something new.

Yes. I've decided I really would like a crop version of the non-Worlds top. I wish the Worlds team uniform was a crop version of the current full top. I would love that. Then the full top can be a similar version with a white stomach and the logo a tiny bit lower, with some more detail on middle.

I'm one of the people attatched to the old uni. The new one is eh. Wish rays was full rhinestones with maybe green behind it to break it up. Nothing too bad, just looks like an old uni for some reason.
P.S. Only full top I've seen that I liked was F5... (and if that DSE one was real)

ETA: The arms on the gym uni are driving me insane for some reason. Don't know what they were going for there. Solid would look a LOT cleaner.

I think if it were a different shade of blue, like a royal, cobalt or navy it would be 10x better.

Just curious... What if the snaps pop during tumbling or stunting (especially for flyers) ? Will they wear something else as far as bloomers?

For all the long torso kids, these bodysuit extenders will come in handy to prevent wedgies. Does anyone know how many snaps these bodysuits have? You used to be able to find these things at sewing stores in the 80's, but I haven't seen them (haven't really looked for them) in years.

I bet you could get those at a dance store, when I did middle school cheer I used one of those and that's where I got mine. But that was about 8 years ago... Wow I just realized I'm getting old.

And here I was always defending rays all last season when people were saying that they hated their uniform, "they need sparkles", "they are so plain". My response was always "Rays like to look clean when they perform, that's what their all about is being clean and performing an amazing routine." But now I'm not so sure that it'll be so easy this season. It's just.. For them to be such a large, well known program, and hearing that they were getting a new uniform.. I myself and I'm pretty sure everyone else was expecting something a little more flashy, seeing as how all of these other varsity uniforms have turned out this season.

I didn't say anything about them not being clean... I was referring to the uniforms not looking as good as last seasons uniforms. If they didn't like last seasons, then they wouldn't like these either. Idk where you got me saying that the gym...coaching...philosophy.. Whatever was going to change?..

i dont mind the new rays level 5 uniforms, but i cant stand the lower level trend of just adding a piece of fabric to the stomach area... maybe the money factor of re- doing that many uniforms is the reason why so many gyms are doing it. but if the rule stays permanent i hope gyms come up with something a little better for the future of full tops. im sure there are plenty of gyms to use as an example, but f5 and panthers 2013 full tops would be a perfect example on how to do a full top correctly.

I feel like Rays on the crop uniform is already faded...it looks like someone has already washed the top and washed it wrong at that. Wonder how they'll look after a few wears..
