Got my boyfriend a cookie cake for our 2.5 years and it read, "Happy 2 1/2 Birthday Kade". *sighs*

When I went to pick up my sisters graduation cake last year it said "Congratulations Peryn"

Her name is Teryn. They spelled the name correctly back to me when I ordered the cake.

The lady asked me if I wanted her to fix the name....like it was a minor technicality

My response resulted in her also giving me a free red velvet cake.

I called them (which is a big deal because if it can be done online I'm getting it done online to avoid having to talk on the phone; but I wanted this to be right). I asked for it to say "Happy 2.5 Kade" in red and blue icing. She asked, "red, white, and blue?" And I said no red and blue is just fine. She did all 3 colors anyway, which wasn't a big deal. On the paper she had even written "happy 2.5 Kade". I was just like, okay. If it was for something important like that I'd probably be upset, but it's only 2.5. Lol, they're lucky their cookies are good!

3:40 am in Cali & I just witnessed my first earthquake... 6.1 mag about 35 miles from my house... I do not suggest throwing up during an earthquake

Yeah, this one was quite a shocker. I felt it up in northern Sonoma county, but luckily only a cabinet door opened at my house. So far I'm hearing nothing bad, just some power outages from downed power lines/transformers. Hope everyone in who felt it is alright!

Oh yeah my bedrooms upstairs & I was sitting there listening to the wind while puking & then all of a sudden my glass shower doors started shaking & then I did & I was screaming "earthquake! Earthquake! Earthquake!" I'm only 17 so I haven't exactly witnessed anything like this before even though I've lived here my entire life

This is definitely the biggest one I've felt. I live near a fault line so this area always gets a bunch of small ones, occasionally like a 3.5 we can actually feel (kinda). I've only felt two smaller ones (3.6ish/4.1) prior to this. I had just woken up and was walking (like 5ft) to the bathroom when it hit so I just stood in the doorway till it passed. First one I've experienced standing too! My legs felt like jelly! Hope you feel better!

As a person who spent approximately eight? years decorating cakes... There are about 200 ways to spell every name, the "simple" ones included. Some people just don't enunciate well and I don't even understand what they're saying after repeating it and reading it back to them ten times. Also don't come in when the line is out the door and I can't hear you spelling the name as I write it on the cake that you forgot to preorder. And sometimes the girl who took the order just has awful penmanship.. I did know how to fix it, though and could change a name in a few minutes. But when I ask you to look at the cake before you leave the store, please do. Don't call in ten minutes screaming at me that the specific shade of pink you requested is too magenta-y. :) :) :) that is all.

We always start at 7:30 in NC. I didn't go to our first game last night though. It was over 2 hours away, so I just listened on the radio, so I have no clue how hot it was there.
Miserable. I walked in the stadium and one of my teachers working the gate said "welcome to hell"

The whole gate crew was soaked from sweating.

So I just stumbled upon the Acedad Meme Contest thread... am I the only person that expected him to look scary? He looks more like a gray-haired Graham Norton (one of my favorite talk show hosts, BTW)!

I didn't know people expect me to look scary!! That's pretty funny.

I'm just kinda normal. This is me and @cheer2win coming back from vacation last year.
