This isn't a brag post for my CP. I want to compliment a couple of "Cheerlebrities".
My CP attended The Cheerleader Magazine's Mega Clinic on Thursday at Southern Cheer in Gainesville, GA. Cami Branson and Holden Ray were part of the clinic. Those two are great kids and role models. Super nice, took time to take pics, sign autographs and they took the stunting/instructing aspect very seriously all while having fun. Holden even took time AFTER the clinic was over to tumble with my CP one one one. Way to be GREAT ambassadors for Allstar.

My CP16 has been at National Flight Academy since last Saturday. It's pushing 50 hours since I last heard from him (it's military so the phones were probably ordered powered down) but he was upset his landings weren't going as he (or the instructor) liked in some breezy Arthur crosswinds. His primary concern was that he wouldn't get to solo. He was pretty stressed. Never heard from him again. That was two days ago.

Got an email from the NFA commander with a Facebook link where they've been updating.

He earned his wings! He soloed yesterday! So far 9 of the 24 of them have soloed. Can't wait to see him Sunday morning for graduation at the Officers Club! So proud of my 6-1 flyer!!!!

ughh i hated the SAT, had to take it two or three times. the first time i took it i didnt even finish the math section, and christmas treed the last ten or so questions in the science part. :banghead: i dont know how the heck i got a good score the next two times to be college acceptable but i did. praise the lord.
i dont know if its just over time they are better preparing students for it now, but back when i was in high school they never offered classes to help you improve your score. you were basically on your own finding SAT self help books to help you study. luckily back then i had a VERY smart boyfriend with an almost perfect score to help me study the next go around.

The SAT has science? It's not very common here and I did well on the ACT so I haven't taken it (I've taken subject tests) but for whatever reason I thought it didn't have science.

I got a 4 on the AP Calc BC test. God is real :cloud9: I also got a 4 on AP Lang! 3 on US History but considering the pathetic excuse for a teacher I had, that's better than expected...

I got my master's degree !!!! I presented my thesis this morning and got pretty decent grades for both the thesis and the presentation. Now I can enjoy the summer (I mean, I still have some work to do, but it lifts a huge weight to be done with that part of my studies) !
