i seriously am dumbfounded as to how this is even an issue... i can see the kids being a little upset (because they're kids) but as a coach, especially of a team that has had MULTIPLE people leave, should you not be prepared for things like this? i mean, you have alternates for a reason don't you?.. this happens all the time and instead of them making a huge deal about it and bashing the kids, their time and energy would probably be better suited to look at the issues and figuring out why so many kids are leaving. if they have had so many kids quit, maybe its time to start self reflecting.
i dont blame dylan in even the slightest. we've talked about this before, but cheerleading is a business. if customers aren't happy, they should have the right to leave without feeling bullied. he was paying (I'm assuming) for california allstars services, and if he didnt like it, why should he continue paying? this kid moved across the country to be on a high calibre team for his last senior eligible year. if he's not liking what he's paying for, all the power to him to find somewhere he does. I'm happy he found CEA and i hope his last year has a lot of success!
