I don't think that option even comes close to what has already been shown and will continue to be shown on ATV.

ETA: will you censor the episode link from the boards?

**there is always 2 sides of a story to be told...oh wait.....**

And no one involved on / in the show has contacted me and asked me to remove a video link. Which are obviously posted everywhere.

You can tweet it on your personal Twitter or Facebook and tell people to go look at your account. Is that not enough?
He posted it from his personal Dropbox and linked it? Isn't that pretty much the same as putting it on twitter/fb and linking it?

So if @Obsessive Cheer asked you to not allow the episode about his son to be posted on the boards you would honor that request as well?

If he asked that one to be removed until he had time to talk to ATV or others about it, sure. Not like it wouldn't get seen and not like the Dropbox files aren't linked.

I would say it's functionally different. Again feel free to post the links in your own personal Twitter and Facebook.

No.
Honestly I'm surprised that the emails were taken down given they were truthful.
Were the links the problem or the content?

Not sure about the issue but they asked they were taken down until they had time to contact them. If you ask I'm sure someone will send you the links and you can post them to your personal Facebook or Twitter.

I really don't care to post it on facebook/Twitter because that part of my life is very separate from here. It's like placing an ad for cheer makeup in the Journal of Accountancy. Sure people will see it, but it's not the target audience.

Can you honestly and objectively say that your solution has the same effect as posting clarification in the thread dealing with the EXACT topic?

I tend to think robust discussion is more suited for a discussion board than the 140 characters available to my varied audience of a Twitter following.

I just assume this means the link to this week's episode (when fully released) will also not be linked here.

Of course it doesn't. That isn't stopping court of public opinion either. I removed links (which are still easily accessible if you wanted) and left the discussion for all up to read. I'm also aware of the Streisand effect whenever something is removed from the Internet and tried to lower the visibility.

it'll be linked, cause i'll be linking it. ;) whether is gets taken down or not will be another story.

i just wish that someone that had the know how would rip it from the app and upload it to youtube. if i was an iphone user i would've figured it out yesterday. we need to get it over with already. lol

On the other hand, I'm sure if Dylan or his family asked to have the episode not air, they would be ignored....

I have never been asked to have an episode removed btw. And all I would be able to remove is the link to YouTube. You are aware I have no control over YouTube, yes?

If you did an overstretch interview for closure between Smoed staff & Dad of Dylan you would get a ton of views. Unfortunately, it feels like many people want the drama to continue, not have a peaceful closure. As stated before Dylan has moved on and is doing great. He will continue to be very successful at CEA!

But...you're the all powerful king behind the curtain :D
