I did not say all. My husband is the same, very rarely gets the chance to see our daughter's competitions! I hope they have a TV set up somewhere for everyone scheduled at night.

NBC has said they're going to stream it. So if they can find a reliable internet connection it might work. Maybe I'll tether my phone and use all of my data :D

Not drinking will be your saving grace. I gained 6 pounds freshman year from beer. Stopped drinking and went back to my normal weight, even while I was eating my weight in bagels, cheese steak and quesadillas.
I gained 12 and I rarely drink :( I blame my school for having #1 college food

Eek! Are you working out? One reason that I gained weight was because I was so used to having all star conditioning as a workout. We didn't condition at practice, so I wasn't getting a workout. It all came off once I started hitting the gym.
I wasn't. I went from intense workouts at all star cheer to almost nothing in college cheer. I'm committed to getting back in shape this semester though!

You'll probably drop most of it once you do that. Your body is probably just mad that you're not working out. I used to take my homework and do it on the elliptical or bike. We started weight lifting my sophomore year and it was the best thing ever. I haven't looked back since. Cardio is just so boring...

So true. I definitely need to get the hang of weight lifting but it's something I want to get into

My health insurance is only good through the 31st. I have two cheer comps before I start my new job. I hope I don't get hurt!

I have unlimited data, hubby has a hotspot so I will steal his work phone. Y'all can come find me and my laptop if I am stuck there all night!

I have a work hotspot that I'll have to give back before then. Darn. Looks like I'll be tracking you down!

YES this is exactly my problem!!!!!! Plus they'll always leave their dirty dishes on the counter for like a week and when we move them to the sink they'll take them out and sit them back on the counter. Then hey'll sit their meat on the counter in a plastic baggy to thaw and not put it in a bowl- and let the blood get all over the counter. We moved it into a bowl once so it didn't make a mess- and they took it out? I kind of want to say something but I don't want to make any problems.. Plus I really hate confrontation lol. We're polite to eachother, but we're not friends by any means. They are 21 & 24 so I feel like they think they're like entitled to do the things they do because they're around 3+ years older idk it's just a weird situation

My old roommate took the garbage out of the can and let it sit in the porch near the door and her rotten decomposing fruit leaked out so I "accidentally" dropped her pillow in it and put it back on her bed. Sorry not sorry.

!

That's the worst. My health insurance ended Dec 1 and my new health insurance doesn't start until Feb 1.

I've been living cautiously

All of my coworkers have had some sort of flu or stomach virus and I told them to go home...unless they want a gofundme me link for my doctor bill....all my sick leave is at less than a day (I think)

My last day is January 30. They told me I'm good through the end of the month. Maybe I should have stayed a few extra days and had coverage for February.

It's not that big of a deal, we can pick it up through my husband's company. It counts as a Qualifying Life Event, even though it's not open season for benefits at his work. I just prefer to have control over things and I have no idea if he can pick it up in 9 days. I was hoping the coverage would last until I start my new job (coverage starts immediately if I want it).

I've had so many friends that I cheered with my freshmen year that transferred to big schools for our sophomore year that gained so much weight from drinking and partying all the time. I go to a small private religious liberal arts college and fortunately drinking is very minimal because I'm not big on going out anyway. I enjoy it from time to time but I'd honestly rather watch Netflix [emoji28]

haha I went to a small private religious liberal arts college....who is consistently ranked in top three for hard liquor on Princeton Review's rankings. :wasntme:

I actually drink SO much less now than I ever did in school. I've had one beer in all of 2015.

Really?? Maybe it's different for us because it's actually against the rules to drink...even if you're 21. And I am and I live off campus (which I'm technically not allowed to do either but I can't live in that prison).

Big East schools stick together in that regard.

Really really. Providence College "banned" hard liquor in dorm rooms my senior year of high school and went from 7 to 2 to 1 in the Princeton Review's "Lots of Hard Liquor" rankings in the subsequent years. (Prohibitions do not work!)
