So I'm really pale and am going to the beach in exactly a month. I don't want to tan in tanning beds because my family has enough history of cancer without adding a risk of skin cancer to the mix, but right now it's too cold and has been raining every day, so laying outside is kind of out of the question. I've never used any self-tanning lotion but I'm seriously considering it. I just don't want something that's going to wash off when I go swimming. I'm not really sure of any more alternatives. Could anyone recommend a lotion, or something I can do, or anything?

Don't make kool-aid when you're overtired, friends. Or at least make sure your salt container isn't a smaller version of your sugar container.
A few years ago I accidentally knocked over a container of powdered creamer into the sugar. I thought I got all of out, but it wasn't until later when I made kool-aid for dinner that it got all funky. Lol it was all white and creamy.

My ship date is never haha. I don't have one yet.

Just kidding, but I'm being kinda picky about my job so I don't have a guaranteed one yet. It's my own fault. My first available date is May 4th (which would suck because my birthday is the 7th) but I probably won't ship till June/July.
All I took from this: your birthday is May 7th? So is mine!

Ahh that's so great!!! Best birthday ever <3
It totally is. But I only know one other person with our birthday. And I always go through those Facebook "birthday twin" things to see if anyone has the same one and I never see it. It's seems to be really uncommon, but that's okay with me because that just means we're better

My laptop is on it's way out. The other day the 'a' and 's' keys weren't working. It's become miserably slow, and crashes all the time.

I'm debating on getting the new macbook that was just announced, or just getting the macbook air. I don't know if the Retina display and the upped processor is worth it. Obviously, no one has (unless you work for Apple, in which case I want to talk with you about job opportunities) played around with the new one, but does anyone have the Pro with Retina/the Air that could recommend which way I should go?

I wouldn't get the one. It's a first generation and it's less powerful/more expensive than the air.

I have a 13" Pro with retina, I'm a big fan. I think it's super light.

That was what kept nagging me--who knows what issues it may have out of the gate. Looking at specs, the only benefit over the air is the processor/Retina...so I'm leaning more towards a compromise to get the pro. Thanks :)

a huge chunk of the girls on my school cheer team played lacrosse and they all transitioned really well! not sure cheer had anything to do with that lol but it still seems a lot of that schools cheerleaders play lax. it wouldn't have been possible to play basketball and cheer because their season overlapped. Lax was in the spring and during the "off season." I *think* you're an all star cheerleader so the whole off season thing doesn't really apply.

if you play basketball will your cheer schedule interfere again?

It won't interfere with my schedule this time (PHEW!) because I'm not doing all-star at the moment :) I've decided that I'll try out for lacrosse and get a feel of it. And if I get in, then I'll decide what to do from there (probably will end up playing lacrosse). If I don't get in, basketball it is. :cheering:

Since we all love GoFundMe stories: I have a former student (I teach HS) who has made a life change to become really fit, and has done a great job.. she looks like a fitness model. But today, I saw a GoFundMe post on her Facebook account talking about "always being flat chested" and how she wanted to "make her body more proportional". So, you guessed it: a go fund me for some implants.

Just go ahead and insert my JawDrop emoji right here.
She should just finance them... With Care Credit (or whatever they're called) it's like $99 down and voila, boobs.

Fake Bake. It's the one in the spray bottle with the little mitten that you apply it with. Greatest stuff ever.

There's a semi famous z list celeb in Britain who got famous purely because she managed to get surgery on the NHS. She used 'being depressed' as a reason for a free boob job but then bragged about how great it was that she got free implants. They aren't free, the tax payers own them...

I was told the newest Macbook is basically an iPad with a keyboard, and the fact that it had no usb ports means I'd have no real use for it. I got the pro with the retina display yesterday and its amazing. I also have friends who bought theirs through Apple's refurbished line and have experienced virtually no problems.
